The Starks should change their motto from ''Winter is coming'' to ''Give us a break''
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
xD
That's kind of what "Winter is Coming" means. Like the Starks are constantly acknowledging that their family is in for some shit.
Beheaded, shot, cut throat, blinded, raped multiple times, stabbed. Poor guys what's the worst that happened to the lannisters. A walk of shame, losing a hand, falsely accused of murder and slowly going insane and being blown up by your niece. Actually it kinda sucks to be a member of either family or the Tyrells and martels for that matter
"I did what I thought was right, and I got murdered for it" - New motto for House Stark
Jeremy was so shocked he didn't even play his intro.
Henry Wentworth he doesn’t play his intro if it’s not a review
The Vagabond but its ays review in the title
"I want Khalissi to come over with her dragons and turn it to ash"
Well. I mean yeah congrats man
Yeah, "congrats"
This show has my condolences.
Talk about foreshadowing.
That comment didnt age very well.😂
@@cobracmr4 ikr lol. Be careful what you ask to be brought to the world, dont look so good hindsight. Lol
I had nothing to say the whole scene. After the scene ended, I walked around the house for a while. Probably rethinking my whole life.
That was the first episode I watched...
bro i just ate some pizza on silence like wtf
I remember wanting to throw up after watching it like losing a family member or something
I did the exact same. I screamed, “DONT GO TO BLACK SCREEN!!!” ... it went to black screen 😒, then said “DO NOT GO TO CREDITS!!!” .... credits....plus no music! I left my living room and screamed in the bathroom.
@@RT-gn7de u don’t even have the context then
Catelyn Stark's scream when she saw her son get killed was brutal.
Boston, omg yes it was horrific. Absolutely gut wrenching. What a fantastic actress she is.
“It hurts so much, she thought. Our children, Ned, all our sweet babes. Rickon, Bran, Arya, Sansa, Robb… Robb… please, Ned, please, make it stop, make it stop hurting… The white tears and the red ones ran together until her face was torn and tattered, the face that Ned had loved. Catelyn Stark raised her hands and watched the blood run down her long fingers, over her wrists, beneath the sleeves of her gown. Slow red worms crawled along her arms and under her clothes. It tickles. That made her laugh until she screamed. “Mad,” someone said, “she’s lost her wits,” and someone else said, “Make an end,” and a hand grabbed her scalp just as she’d done with Jinglebell, and she thought, No, don’t, don’t cut my hair, Ned loves my hair.
Then the steel was at her throat, and its bite was red and cold."
So true... Nearly cried
@@jaimelannister1797 horrifying 😢
And that neck slice
When I came home that day my brother was still in shock, and he told me to watch the episode immediately. I asked him if one of the characters died. Turns out I was being too hopeful.
+WafflingMean44 My mom was like omg
i warned my wife in a similar way. i was like "just so you know, someone will die pretty soon so dont freak out." I realize i really cant have warned her enough without ruining it but i also didnt want her to be totally scarred for life.
Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 1 - "A Dothraki wedding isn't a wedding if there aren't at least two deaths."
Well played, George. Well played.
"A Dothraki wedding without at least three deaths is considered a dull affair."
Sorry, i just watched the episode.. You can call me dirty things.
Dirty things.
+TheChunkymonkey5000 you dirty things
damn......

SaNapa See? The band has GoPros on their foreheads!
yeah its fine, have some pie
I like how The Blackfish got out of it "I need to find a tree to piss".
yeah hahah
What do we say to the God of Death?
Blackfish: Excuse me I need to go take a piss.
Lmao so true
Dudes lucky there probably aren’t any toilets in the twins
I didn’t even realise that untill now 😂
Just watched the Red Wedding. I was at a loss of words. I was really hoping the North would gather enough power to take on the Lanisters. Guess not haha.

They said Lady Stoneheart isn't gonna be in it.
Tate Hildyard They say shit like that all the time to confuse us.
As a Cat fan that was devatasting, i recommend you to read the chapter, oh god you could see her point of view it was awesome really sad but awesome poor Catelyn u.u

Lady Stoneheart is really cool i love her but is a different character what can you lose when you are already dead?
Daenerys Targaryen I just wish Cat didn't die. In the books they were going to let her live and hold her as a political prisoner but she went crazy.
Benji Hudson yea that was exactly what i forget to say, ow when Tywin said that i was like NOOOOOOO My little Cat :(
Hannibal Lector thought the Red Wedding was fucked up :)
Do you not know who Hannibal Lector is?
If Frey decided to eat his wife and Catelyn whilst Robb is forced to watch and swallow his balls and unborn child meanwhile being fitted by the head of his very own wolf, then yeah, Hannibal Lector would say that the Red Wedding was fucked up.
BTW, I love that profile picture :D
Dr. Lector would view the affair as "rude" :)
MisterTutor2010 dude lector is a cannibal he wouldn't give a shit if some royalty get massecred i bet he would eat their corspe
For Dr. Lector, discourtesy is unspeakably ugly and slaughtering guests at a wedding would count as discourtesy.
MisterTutor2010 lol
I literally sat motionless with my jaw dropped for a good five minutes... I was completely paralyzed with shock.
Oh I did! And because I can't wait for season 5 I just got the entire book series. Time to read!!
Chris Cassaday Please give me your emotions because this episode was bang average for me. Fuck sake too much hype fucked my expectations
I’m a huge crier, I can even cry at animated shows/movies. I couldn’t cry at this, it was just straight shock for me as well
The Rains of Castamere is the most infamous episode of Game of Thrones yet,
I wonder what future episode could surpass this level of tragedy.
The Children? Or maybe the Mountain and the Viper?
Not going to ruin it for those who haven't read the books but something big is going to happen in Danerys' story in Season 5. Let's just say the intensity of her story reaches new heights.
jstarwars360 Will Jaime Lannister
die in Season 5?
No. Most of his story is spent up North doing clean up taking out the remaining bits of Lannister resistance. The final chapter of his story in DWD is frustrating though because it seems like it was about to get really interesting.
jstarwars360 So there's going to be a story as bad (as in amazing but gut wrenching) as The Red Wedding?!
i only started game of thrones this year and i just watched the episode now
what the fuck has this show done to me
Sabreen Islam i agree the most abusive show ever i was beyond terrified after finishing s6
Sabreen Islam me too!!!!!
Sabreen Islam It has turned your happiness to ashes in your mouth.
well muhammad did the same thing to the jews right before he slaugter them all in kaiber
Just started watching it last week.. finished season 7 today. Each episode left me emotionally wrecked tbh
I recently watched the first three series of Game of Thrones over the course of two weeks. I 'd been planning on going through everything before season five started. After this episode, I just felt exhausted. I finished season three and just stopped watching for a couple of weeks because I felt so emotionally drained. No work of fiction has ever impacted me that much before. Until then I merely liked Game of Thrones. After the Red Wedding I knew that this was going to be one of the all time greats of television.
You ain't seen nothing. Season 4 is the best
***** I disagree. Joffrey's death was always inevitable simply because he was such a tyrant. It was always only a matter of time, and I think they pulled it off really well.
***** Well that is the whole idea behind plot twists, to take the story in a dramatic and unexpected direction.
***** Not cliché enough for you?
Same here. It was a course of a month or two for me though. I haven't watched another episode yet
George RR Martin: Wedding Planner
Red wedding, not bad by the dothraki standards
there's a college humor video like that :)
I'm just now getting into Game of Thrones (to be fair, I was underage until recently) and after watching this episode I sat in silence, then watched Pokemon for nearly an hour because I was just done.
Lol
I'd read the books (mostly in school when I was 12-13ish, never got in trouble though) and I thought I'd be prepared for this... I wasn't.
after eddard's death I was prepared for everything really. Even killing off Jon snow or Daenerys.
I curled up in a ball and watched My Little Pony with my little sister.
You watched an immortal child who slaves animals to fight each other.... Joke hhaha
He'll always be the king in the north in my heart. It seems the honorable and well intentioned people always get the shaft in this show. R.I.P Robb Stark.
Also I hope Lord Bolton burns in the deepest of the seven hells.
Ben Foster Ramsay is worse
I will avenge my son, my husband, and the North
@@ladystoneheart9796 No... You won't...
For some reason I decided to watch this video in 2024. Needless to say it was jarring to see Jeremy bubbling with this much energy 😂
My reaction when characters died during this episode:
Robb Stark: meh
Talisa Stark: oh dang. That was brutal.
Lady Catelyn: Honestly? I never really liked you so whateves.
Direwolf: WHAT THE FUCK! WHY?! NOOOOOO!
Same
Price1way can't you at least call Grey Wind by his name?
Price1way youre pretty fucked up...
Michael Zessin Bit of a pointless thing to complain about
I nit-pick
Damn, I liked Robb.
I cried when Robb Stark died! He was my favorite character and I was rooting for him!!!!! 😢😢😢😭😭
Ah my sweet summer child. Back before we had seen the terror of winter, aka season 8
I came to Game of Thrones late, I knew the Red Wedding happened and that it was bad but I didn't know the details of it. Man, when I finally saw this episode... holy moly. Never in my life has an episode of a tv show, like, stayed with me for days after I saw it.... but damn.
Jadden Sinn I was a late comer too. I didn't watch the first season until 2014, and now I'm finally reading the books a few years later.
Yep, i've just got into it myself, just seen this episode... my god, its really crushed me, its the fact they killed lady stark that really got me. Wasnt expecting it and was shocked. I loved Rob and Lady stark, its so unjust how some of these noble Starks go out. Its so unfair. Its created a void inside me i keep being absorbed by while im watching after that point. cant shake it, but i seriously admire the show for doing this sort of thing, its really refreshing.
I came to it late too, and I had heard about the Red Wedding. I knew who died, except for the Direwolf. That one messed me up. And then the start of the following episode really messed with me.
Yeah me too. I pretty much binged watched the entire show about 2 weeks into the final season. I'd heard that the Red wedding was bad, but I didnt know the details. But this gutted me man. I was a mess afterwards. And to ad insult to injury they sewed his dire wolf's head onto his body😢. That was the final straw. I lost it, I was shaking with anger and tears.
I actually watched this scene alone because of the reactions back when it was still airing. Buried it deep in my mind that I must've forgotten. It's not until recently I actually started watching it from the beginning and well, damn.
Watched that episode for the first time today... I just watched it in silence while a manly tear ran down my cheek...
hahahaha sure manly tear, you are just as sissy as everyone else
don't listen to this bastard. that must have been the manliest tear to ever have been shed.
Catelyn Stark's reaction gave me teary eyes. :(
Remember when Jeremy said yeah Danny come roast everyone. 😲 beware what you wish for.
Foreshadowing eh?
So Jeremy predicated the future.
I have a friend who was actually HAPPY it happened... I'll let that sink in for a moment. It. Made. Him. Happy. I don't think I'll ever look at him the same again.
I just watched the game of thrones red wedding....
I think a part of me died....
and apparently there's another one.... the purple wedding..................hold me.......
Don't worry the purple wedding is good, just don't spoil yourself!
Anna Joi All y'all just wait for the end of the 4th season (If it's the same as the end of the 3rd book, you'll shit yourselfs from excitement)
You thought Robb dying was bad, the purple wedding will blow you away
Victor Nascimento i've always hated goffrey and the queen so i was fine in the purple wedding
the red wedding was the worst so many loved characters died horribly
NeeenO7 i was being sarcastic in order to not spoil the show for him... :P
I was pretty disturbed by 'The Red Wedding'. It got under my skin. In that scene there was pain everywhere, no remorse and everyone was a monster. It makes me think that things like that have happened at some point in history. *shudder* I am so glad I was not alive then
Thats game of thrones...
Apparently the historical model for these books was the War of the Roses. Disturbingly not that far from historical events.
+Akilah Dallas more specifically the Black Dinner, a 10yr old king got beheaded in it
Han Solo's Death in The Force Awakens is more disturbing than the red wedding.
Awww c'mon!!! That better be a joke......seriously. It hasn't even come out where I live yet
I had heard about how there was a red wedding but never knew it was this wedding. I thought it was going to be joffreys wedding. So when it showed the chain main under that guys sleeve I was like huh oh hell no shit no no no shit......(five minutes of silence) well they're all dead.
Yeah i thought it would be jeoffrey's wedding too ( like Stannis would show up and fuck shit up or something like this) I WAS MISTAKEN
Jeffrey's wedding is called the purple wedding
*joffrey
it sucks because I heard of the red wedding so I knew it was gonna happen
Nick Schneider when I heard the words "red wedding" I thought it would be tyrions because of Lannister red
I literally had to stop reading after the Red Wedding for a while. The next chapter after Arya's account was Tyrion. I couldn't bring myself to continue. That I didn't care about Tyrion is a testament to how distraught I was. Such a great series of books and television series. They truly do it justice, which I do not say lightly.
***** Why yes of course.
This is Jeremy's most accurate review to date...... I'm going to go cry under my bed now.
Years later and I’m still shook from the Red Wedding. My therapist says I’m doing better though
hehe. trust me, those Starks still living are going to become the most important badass shit in history XD. I don't know. The series grew very attached to Robb's character, which is something the book didn't. It grew very attached to his love-story. And that's something that made the Red Wedding on television much more disturbing. In the Red Wedding of the book you get also terrified, but you are not emotionally drained at the end of that chapter. I don't know. And I had read the books fist, so I knew it was coming. So it wasn't terrible for me.
It's not terrible for me because the Starks brought that all on themselves. It's like every decision they made was the second best decision they could've made at best.
Gootothesecond Second best? I would say that every decision they made was second to worst they could have made. Rob Stark betrayed his people by marrying that girl. He made a promise as a king and broke it right away. I am sorry but those are middle ages rules and he got what he , not deserved but "you reap what you sow" kind a thing.
Junshido It's a figure of speech. What I meant is that they were apparently trying to fail.
Gootothesecond I wouldn't blame them for bringing it all upon themselves because they didn't know things would escalate into what they did. They didn't have a clue that was going to happen. And frankly, that is a very human way to behave and think. Every character in the story has had good intentions and ended up bringing shit upon themselves eventually:
Ned wanted to save Cersei's children's life, he ended up executed and condemning his own family.
Robb was acting out of honor cause he had bedded a girl, that got him killed.
Tyrion wanted to keep Joffrey under control. However, when Tywin came back he didn't only loose his power and become harassed by Joffrey and the people he had "punished", but he also made himself an easy target and suspect of any attack the king might receive.
Dany wanted to free the slaves of Slaver's Bay, yet she didn't calculate the power her enemies had.
Every character made mistakes that led them to their downfall, however that is a very realistic thing to do since we all do it. The fact that their mistakes lead to where they are right now doesn't change the fact that what happened to them was sad and unjust.
Moby Dick I slightly disagree. Just because I remember reading the books as a teenager. I can remember as Eddard dies, I was a bit puzzled. Clearly reading Fantasy like that, I was used to heroes who just won't ever freaking die. So I shrugged it off thinking the actual hero of GOT was his son Robb. So when they almost all got slaughtered, I can still remember how I put the book down and thought to myself in utter shock : what. the. fuck?! That's why I truly love this serie. If you're too kind, too sloppy, poof, you're dead! If you're cunning and ruthless, you go a long way! This level of realism hasn't been seen in the Fantasy genre in a long long time, and is immensely refreshing.
What really got me was Greywind's death...not the direwolves!!!! oh and what the freys did after the wedding is so barbaric I don't want to say it!
ugh yes that got me more than the numerous human deaths... and it was not until the first season 4 episode i truly realized the barbaric stuff the freys did 0-o...
What do you mean? What did the Freys do after the wedding??
***** ugh.........I don't want to say it...just the very thought of it makes me want to hurl.
***** Please, don't make me watch everything again, please tell me xD
***** Do you mean the part where they put a wolf head on Robb's body? That shit shocked me, it was disgusting. I have seen videos of real people being killed brutaly but this was so much worse lol..
After hearing how fucked up this episode was, and finally starting to watch the whole show in a few days, I was still not truly prepared for what I saw. Probably top 3 of the most gut wrenching things I've ever seen in a television series.
Am I the only one who thought the death of Ogerian aka the red viper was worse I mean the massacre was bad but the way the mountain poped his head like a baloon and hearing him scream was just terrible.
No you are not, *Oberyn's death was too much for me to take. It fucked me up to see such an awesome character die like that. I would never see that scene ever again.
After watching this sad scene, I thought how it should have ended.
Rob turns into a huge wolf after his wife dies, and eats all the bad guys.
lolol 😀😂
+Steve Govea in the books, that's actually the Frey's bullshit excuse for slaughtering him and his bannermen
They took his wolves head and put it on his body. When the white walkers come down and start resurrection. He will be a badass wolfman.
This episode was "Killing your main cast" done right.
It's not just raw and brutal but also no one saw it coming and most importantly, it still *made sense* and wasn't only for chock value.
I've never heard my girlfriend's vocal chords make the noise she made when she watched this episode before and I doubt I ever will again.
I have watched....many ..of your videos. But this one my friend, this one made me decide. No...my sub is just a small thing...you NEED to be hired by a TV company...and do this show...AAAA LOT! thank you dude. you are the best critic on youtube hands down.
I actually discovered this channel looking up reaction videos of the Red Wedding. Glad I did.
this video made me subscribe! nice job Jeremy!
I binged Game of Thrones during the summer with my sister who had already seen the show. She left before the red wedding and left me alone to suffer through it. When she came back she said "Now you know why I left."
The funny thing was that I had put off watching Game of Thrones since it started and the internet spoiled most events like Ned Stark and Jon Snow's death and the "Hold the door!" scene. But no one ever talked about the red wedding. They merely mention the name "red wedding" and that's it. No one gave a single detail about it. Looking back on it now, it seems pretty obvious that no one spoiled it for me because no one wanted to talk about it.
10 years later, just hearing Jeremy describe the scene gave me PTSD.
you thought the red wedding was bad ... wait for the end of a dance with dragons...
i threw the book away. picked it up a few days later
Im getting there lol.
***** That is lame.
***** Thanks for ruining the show for me.... no reason to keep watching now....
william moseholm His comment is just a theory..
My thoughts were 'fuck this shit, I hope Danyres comes and burns all this shit to the ground'
Not for another couple of books at least, she's back to being whiny until winds of winter. Like Quarth level of whiny. (I miss storm of swords bad-ass Dany).
Taylorwest626 the brilliance of the books are the fact that the characters are human. GRRM has said Dany's struggles in Mereen are meant to show how difficult ruling can be and to go against the stereotype that the good guy becomes the good king. And struggles do make the payoffs even greater, Hopefully she tears shit up in TWOW
Bro
If there was one thing that got me harder than the Red Wedding it would be the Eclipse from Berserk.
INDEED! That shit was fucked!
that shit was waaay more fucked than the red wedding
Dude Cat Starks performance was insane. She is such a good actor.
This video is absolute peak Jeremy. Hilarious video all the way through.
I remember reading the red wedding in the books (well before show had come out) and after the chapter ended- whcih ends right with catelyn getting her throat slit (says something like “and the dagger bit” then just ends)- kinda sat up and looked at the wall... stared.... and immediately went back to the beginning of the chapter and started over. It was one of those things where you’re like.. “wait did I just read that right? Did everyone I care about just die or am I missing something here?”
2013 Jeremy : Im unkempt, Im unshaven
*a wild 2020 Jeremy appears*
I finally got to this episode for the first time
I am a different person today
10 years later and the shock and horror of the red wedding is still real. I saw this review 10 years ago when I hadnt watched game of thrones, forgot, watched it years later and this review. this review was the first thing i had to revisit after watching it. It stuck in my head for a decade
watching this now it seems jeremy is still grieving and hasnt shaved since the red wedding XD
Jesus christ, jesus fucking Christ Just watched it. Man this might sound a bit sick but the saddest thing for me was when the dire wolf died. I'm still fucking sad that the starks are dead. :( I really want to see flitch from harry potter die. Does he die? I really want to see him die.
He's not dead yet. I'll avoid spoilers for the non-readers among us, but I'll just say that I was disappointed Joffrey and Margery's wedding wasn't in the same season. (Yes, book 3 is huge and deserves more than 10 episodes since there's so much non-trivial stuff in it (trivial being defined as "can be edited out without entirely breaking the plot"), but still, it'd be nice to see a season end on a high note for a change. Well, Season 4 should, if they make it "the rest of Storm of Swords" rather than wrapping up book 3 mid season and plunge into the chronologically challenged books 4 and 5.)
Just watched all 3 seasons over the last 60 some hours and this happened...
Same here.. I heard about it but experiencing it..wow
i just watched it last night.........it was mind-blowing.....
StoneCold Saboter You know what else was mind blowing? The trial by combat in series 4.
6:45 lol the foreshadowing of Jeremy here
6:45 careful what you wish for.
😂😂
OHHH the future is great ain't it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I literally just saw the episode and .... Well I won't be sleeping for a week ... Or a month month maybe .... Holy shit man
Who remembers Catlyn Stark's face when she heard the Rains of Castamere tune in that wedding?
I love it when I rewatch an old Jeremy Jahns video and discover a hilarious after credits scene that I hadn't seen before :D
The most hilarious thing about this is the fact that I totally did rub one out after watching this earlier, haha.
I guess I'm that one guy.
I just saw this episode and I fucking cant stop crying. WHY?!?!? GOD DAMN IT FUCKING WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because George RR Martin is a sociopathic serial killer.
That fat wanna be sailor will pay.....
"from the fictional worlds most notorious serial killer comes " A game of thrones"
I just started watching GoT a couple days ago and I got to this the other night and it was pure HORROR!
The Red Wedding: I am the most disturbing tragedy ever produced.
The Eclipse: Hold my behelit.
Berserk…. this is such a random comment as I just started to watch recaps of the story. Sheesh you’re right lol
Charlie Chaplin's grand-daughter is Rob Starks wife
+Mind the craft yep.
All Robb had to do was do as his father would have done. His duty. He shirked his duty and it cost the life of his beloved wife, mother, and worst of all thousands of loyal Northmen.
It might not have mattered what Robb did honestly. Walder may have still betrayed him anyway.
But after this, things start to lineup, Jon Snow grows on you, you get the feeling that everything will end up fine...and...oh...wait. Do you have a video on Jon Snow too?
+Gabriel Badea His review for season 5 video
I just assume they all die so i've not no fears of watching on.
Jon Snow's death was the most traumatic event of the series IMO. Totally unexpected and tragic.
fuck off gabriel
Jon Snow is the white wolf The king of the north
6:44 oh little did we know back then...
Roose Bolton was that one that said "The Lannister's send there regards" before stabbing him.
Lord Ramsey Bolton he was the kindest, most gentle man in all of Westeros
Try reading 3,000 pages with these characters then reading the red wedding, that’s when u get really fucjed
“‘The night is dark and full of terrors.’ Yeah no shit lady so are weddings.”
G.R.R.M. Said that in the first season GoT setup that a wedding isn't a good wedding without at least 2 deaths... Well played GoT... Well played...
Don't worry. Anyone who is feeling dubious about next season I implore you stick around for one more season. The bad shit DOES get better! Next season is gonna be so much fun as Storm of Swords part 2 was my favourite book for three reasons. You'll see why
Totally agree with you!
Yvette Lin I have to say I adore your picture!
It was just where everything seemed to come to a head and I never found a dull moment within the book
Ah yes... Back when the show is still good. Good times
Damn....the thing that "changed me" was the Mockingjay book,I read it before watching this season( I wait for it to be at the lost episode of the season to catch up and enjoy the whole thing) so by the end of the RW I was feeling the same way I was before the epilogue of MJ....emotionally drained,is hard for shows/books/movies do this to me this days but when they do? God damn BRILIANT writing.
I just watched this scene after starting the series for the first time.
I was filled with such rage, I screamed my throat sore during the red wedding.
I turned off the show and started playing Disney Dreamlight Valley.
😂
The dire wolf was just too cute to die..devastating
I had heard of the Red Wedding but I thought it had something to do with Tyrion marrying Sansa. I heard the band play the Lannister song and I held my breath till it was over, then immediatley after the credits started I remembered Jeramy made a video about the Red Wedding so i came here to process my feelings.
my reaction to The Red Wedding is one of stunned shock and horrified terror
6:44 D&D: "That is a great idea"
@Jeremy Jahns you predicted everything being burned down from the last episode in this review!! I hope you see this
I just reached that point in the books and I have been in silence since
I don't think I'm strong enough to read the character reactions
"Please don't cut my hair. Ned loved my hair." 😭😭😭😭😭
I miss this Jeremy 😂😂
its 2019 and I am just watching old reviews to remind myself that Game of Thrones used to be good
Jeremy saying he wanted Dany to come over and burn it to ash didn’t age too well… or did it?
THINKING IT THAT WAY...THE ENDING WAS MASTERFUL.
Yeah, I may be a year late, but I only recently started watching GOT. Just finished season 3.
HOLY. SHIT.
I'm pretty tough when it comes to explicit content in media because I know it isn't real. This was just downright disturbing. I feel sick.
I can't wait to catch up on season 4!
Funny story so I'm watching game of thrones for the first time in 2021 and back in the day I didn't care for GOT so I heard about the "Red Wedding" and I kinda knew what to expect, what I didnt know was the name of the actual episode I assumed it was called the Red Wedding so when it happened I was in complete shock the only thing I said when the credits rolled was "WTF WAS THAT!?!?!?" I was like "if this is not the Red Wedding how bad could the red Wedding episode be?!?!" I later found out this was the episode everyone was talking about lol
Yeah,me too I watched it in 2020 lockdown but really don't know how first they did 'the Red wedding' then they totally Fucked it up in season 8.
When I saw the wolfs head on rob stark body I was like WTF 😦
Just to freak my friends out, when this scene happened when we were watching this episode, I put on the most sinister grin I could muster and let out the most evil laugh I could make. It worked. My friends all started staring at me like I was some kind of sick psycho.
that mein kampf reference was hillarious
Little did we know oberyn vs the mountain
I love watching these old reviews :D
Pshhh, are you kidding me? I haven't watched Game of Thrones once and it still shocked me.
ahhh, you spoiled such a incredible scene for yourself? why??
your right maybe i should have watched the episodes leading up to it.
***** do you usually seek out the biggest spoilers about things before you watch them?
***** you should watch it from ep1 season 1 or all else don't make sense
Hannibal Lecter, the Joker, the Emperor and that Matt Damon looking motherfucker from Breaking Bad all thought.......''bruh that's going a bit too far'' when they saw the Red Wedding XD
lol (to your reaction, though I understand it completely) I haven't read much of the series yet either, but Arya's still a contender. I HATED the red wedding, but I'm still rooting for the little she-wolf... and if she ends up dying, I'm team Daenerys then...
You're not supposed to enjoy the red wedding

Well done, Sherlock! What was your first clue? I didn't say I enjoyed it, I said I hated it too. Your comment is as pointless as kissing a frog.
CDG My point is you're speaking to the crowd. What you just said? It's pointless to say outside your head. Its like saying that you dislike the holocaust.

Well done, Sherlock, you've done it again. I'm not dim. I caught that, I just didn't bother commenting on it because it's so idiotic. Fine, it's "pointless to say outside my head" that I hated the Red Wedding. Now go say that to almost every person on RUclips who's posted a similar comment on a Red Wedding video (I hope you saved up your sick days and vacation time at work). YOUR comment is far more pointless than mine.
I loved the Red Wedding(I read the books first so I know what was coming) Finally Rob is dead :D we can continue with the interesting stories like aryas ;) volar margulis
This video was the reason I subscribed to Jeremy Jahns. Still funny after all this time!
I cried. I sobbed. It was a hard experience.
Game of thrones is, in no small part, the most epic and brilliant peice of entertainment (although calling the red wedding entertaining is simply wrong) ever committed to film. Period.
If this is the most disturbing thing you've seen than you haven't had the displeasure of watching the Human Centipede 2.
i agree, but i think of it more in the way of characters you really like getting killed since most shows never kill their main characters especially in such a manor as the red wedding. A Serbian Film and Human Centipede is disturbing in the way of grusome and terror but not really as emotional as GoT Red wedding.
***** Oh god, can we please ban a Serbian Film, please?
***** That has one powerful movie.
Azi Graner Why though? The movie was made to show us how evil humans can be, and they can be really evil.
that shit has nothing to do with this
I'm rewatching the entire series and just finished the Red Wedding. What really sold the horror of the entire scene was Catelyn's scream as she sees Robb get stabbed in front of her eyes. That scream....was despair made audible. And how she stared blankly with dead eyes for a few seconds before a Frey cut her throat. It truly was a high point in television cinema history.
