Something to keep in mind as well is that the CE-2 & the CE-2W clip when you hit them with drive, which makes them sound "huge" and slightly "flangy". I personally like it, it's a cool sound, but keep in mind that it will not stay clean when hit with drive.
Happy to see the Tri-Avatar featured here! Easily my favorite chorus pedal by far, its just fantastic
I’d love to see a video on how John sets up his amps! For example how he has the two rock, fumble and bandmaster all setup!
That Tri Avatar is absolutely killer chorus pedal. I bet you can get all type of chorus John using in live just from a single Tri Avatar (from standard CE-2 type to dimension chorus and tri-chorus, and even rotary).
Agree 100% = Best I have ever heard. Played in a Rush Cover Band ( tried them all ). I have the FTT Tri Chorus and the Boss DC-2W. oNe LovE from NYC

FTT Tri Avatar is absolutely phenomenal. I am a Chorus-junkie and it's next-level. No seasick warble. It's a studio-rack in a pedal. Also love the Boss DC-2W and the Shiva little-wave.
Awe dude you definitely got to cop a Tri Avatar. It’s my favorite it chorus circuit it’s one of those circuits that’s hard to get a bad sound out of just got it’s got such a good frequency range
I went to his Toronto son rock show, I intentionally go the nose bleed seats on the side so I can see him work his pedal board in person 😂

I like the JHS 3 series chorus for some of that modulation; it has a pretty heavy 80s chorus sound. Also, speaking of blacked out pedals, did we ever figure out that one black mystery pedal that was thought to be something from JHS?
This is very interesting. I am considering a Chorus pedals and this will help me narrow down which one to get.

I would say after drive. He has his chorus pedals right before his delays and reverbs.

I've been playing close to 40 years now and have finally come to the realization that pedals are pretty much a guitar players equivalent to a woman's show collection
