    I was told with regards to property it is better to have it in your name and not as a limited company? Are you not paying more taxes now for having 3 companies when they could be merged into one? Thanks

    What's the difference between trading company and holding ?

      A trading company is an active business for example if you ran a shop. Likewise if you continually flipped properties technically it could be a trading company.
      If you buy a property for buy to let then it’s technically not a trading company because you’re only collecting rent in it.
      A holding company owns other companies in a parent / group structure and money for a hold co comes from its subsidiary companies.
