I feel like I've met Emma before. I remember touring the Cairngorns last year, and feeling a bit lost because of a road closure. I pulled up alongside someone who was equally confused. Same lovely eyes, same kindness in them.
As I was saying before we got very lost… she knows these roads like the back of her hand! 🤣 Seriously, who doesn’t ever take a wrong turning when out for a ride. Nice one Em! 👊

Yeah but as you said there’s no such thing as a wrong road on a motorcycle. Great video, my boss keeps telling me to pop over to the Raven as its only about 15 miles away but I think then I’d get out to Shropshire as they are some lovely roads too 👏👏👏

Nice to see great safe riding, just how I ride, usually my mates are gone and I end up on my own but I always return home safe and enjoy my bike, have a 95 cbr600, owned since 07 but really fancy one of the cb1000r black editions, will be looking at the 2023 model if they release one 👍

Hello from the southwest of Germany. I watch your videos regularly and several times the videos with the CB1000R. I've been interested in this bike for a long time. Personally I have been riding a CB650R for 3 years and am a big fan of inline 4 cylinders. I'm thinking about switching next year and will definitely test ride the CB1000R. Thank you for the many impressions and reports about the CB1000R. Have a nice time and ride safe :-).

meanwhile I was able to test drive the CB1000R. What can I say, the pure madness, the sound, the handling, the power, that's a good deal more than my CB650R. But it can also be moved in a relaxed and effortless manner, which is then typically 4 cylinders. Speaking of the CB650R, since I regularly watch your videos, you haven't test driven them yet. I can really recommend you. 95hp at 202kg ready to drive with Quickshifter are really a lot of fun. Since the maximum output of 95 hp is only available at 12,000 rpm, you can assume that this can be a real rev concert if you put your mind to it. In the lower speed range, the CB650R sounds rather dull, slightly bassy and has a quite perceptible drone up to around 4,000 rpm. Maybe you'll make a video about it too ;-) ?

Always nice to have a local show you around the Peaks roads! I was there riding on my Kawasaki Z1000 SX with Pooley (on a Deauville) and Quinn Peaks Biker (Transalp) recently and did a few of the same roads. Some different sites, though: Pooley was a top top route planner! Even got a roadside photographer!

We were going to do that but the weather in Wales was threatening rain and peaks wasn't so we changed our plans at the raven 😁

Raven does a bike night on Thurs during summer, its packed out when the sun shows up (like tonight)

You barely scratched the Peak District, good excuse to go back and ride it more with Emma-J. I knew every road you were on apart from at the end where you had gone too far and turned round.
It's a 20 odd minute vlog 🤣 Emma knows most routes in the peaks as she lives on its doorstep lol

I don't know. My brain wants an electric bike/scooter but my Wanderlust wants a conventional tourer and just gobble the entire UK while I still can!
I went up the cat and fiddle yesterday on my z650, the views at the top are amazing but the road surfaces are awful.

Cat and fiddle I remember well as I was just living down the road in Bollington when working in the Uk ,a Ducati dealer used to be there in 1990.Is Emma a stealth Stig as she never removed her helmet😂.Lots of Lady riders in Sweden 🇸🇪,empty roads over here 25 krona a litre average,so riding the bmw in eco mode😂😂😂😂great picture quality and blog ❤️🙏🏍🇸🇪

Its certainly not good to see a bike crash, I've seen a few in my lifetime and your heart goes out to the rider. Apart from that it looked like a beautiful day for a ride and you both ride your bikes very capably. Kate have you ever ridden Emma's MT09? If you have I'd be interested to know how you liked it. Left and left again out of J&S to the Raven, cat and fiddle is one of the most hateful roads around cold windy and crashes

You didn't see the run up to the cat and fiddle 😉 fun was had. However, the averages cameras now work up there on both sides

Hi Kate, do you have hyper smooth stabilisation on your helmet cam? Head movement makes me feel a bit travel sick.
