Pledge is sure. Very nice set of components. Some minis are stunning. Art is gorgeous, and cards layout looks very clear with all that content to fit. Adventure tiles are really awesome. Game loop up to now looks very streamlined even with so many possibilities. Looking forward to this campaign!
The RUclips buffer really doesn't want me to watch this video. 🤣 Thank you very much for the in-depth overview! This seems very interesting, on the surface. Projects like this depend so much on the quality of the writing and based on the samples shown I am not so really sure what to think. The character system seems very interesting but it also needs much closer look. Looking forward to future videos. P.S.: Why can it never be a sci-fi setting?
haha RUclips shooting itself in the foot? Say it isn’t so! You bet, glad you liked it. More videos focusing on gameplay coming. There’s lots of fantasy and sci-fi out there…where are the gritty pirate themed games?
Evershade isnt until November most likely. I plan on getting both personally. Each will have its own distinct feel and playstyle. Story of Many is also more of a true crowdfunding passion project.
I feel like these stand alone and the only major overlap is going to be that it’s a narrative adventure. That’s pretty high level. SoM is closer to a tabletop RPG too.
@@MacScelaro I'm interested in both but will probably get just one. So I'd like to see what they have to offer first and try to pick the best or more of my liking.. But the new AR's got a slight advantage because of the experience and quality of their previous games.
@@RollingSolo I don't think we ever had such a open word/RPG/narrative board games before, not at this level anyway.. SOM goes first into videos but looking forward to discovering the Land of evershade, when you will get the prototype. IMO for the moment Evershade is even more RPG than SOM , so let's see your playthrough..
Ya, there’s RPG elements in both for sure. I think these games can easily exist. I mean at this point almost all games overlap in some way but the experience of the game is unique.
Looking interesting... If only i did not have to beat my way to the rest of all the tainted grail content i still have to explore 😅👍 but this looking nice 😊
Such an ambitious project. The scale of written content and the incredible amount of iconography and monster behaviours might be too much? I look forward to your gameplay videos to help showcase how smoothly and balanced it all is.
Thank you for the great UNBOXING... i am also interested in this game... and will defiantly check it out @Spiel Essen :) And i hope they will remove those numbers on the bases... looks strange to me🤪and also the miniatures look a little big maybe 36mm? hope they will tune them down to the "normal" standard like 28/32mm. Hope to see your playthrough soon... thank you Best Chris
Okay, so far everything looks good. However, in order for me to back, I want to see what game play looks like. This feels like Isofarioan Guard or the Solo RPG "The Domain of the Deathless King" which has pretty much what this game has except all the components which you need to gather yourself. I will keep a lookout for the playthrough.
Yes there will be a standee version it might have miniatures for the characters too but that is something the designers are still looking into. The pricepoint of the standee version will roughly be around €100/115 not included vat and shipping.
@@RollingSolo Yeah, I do like that they're offering a standee pledge too, so maybe I'll swing around and pick it up later after I've made a dent in my backlog a bit.

I have personally never seen a campaign that came with wash baseline. It is always an add-on so that people who like to paint can start with basic grey
@@arcaderunner2188 Many people get the wash. I actually wonder if more people get them washed than don't. It is best for marketing to show off the game in the best light. I personally would love to see all standees honestly
Yes, there is sundrop applied to them as mentioned in the video on screen. That’s a great question for the campaign page. I know Sundrop will be an option tho!
I can understand your concern. They’re going to be removable/reusable. When you see how they’re used on cards to make them customizable I think you’ll like it!
In minority here but this actually turned me off from the game it looks way too complicated and not a fan of the map tiles. Still yet to back a new game in 2024. Hopefully evershade will be more up my alley. If not I guess I'll late pledge Odalin
@@RollingSolo my wallet is happy at least. Not that I need any more games. Just started 7th citadel and kinfire Chronicles and have Arydia and the update pack for isofarian guard coming soon. That's a years worth of gaming right there at least
I don’t believe it will be complicated based on what I’ve played. Medium weight imo. Which is a great place to be for a campaign game. More action and less learning.
