Bạch Mã means White Horse. Hải Vân pass had lot of fatalities in the past, many places are haunted!
Can’t wait to visit. We are from Tampa area but live in Hanoi. Heading to Danang this week and planning to go to Bach Ma next week. Question: if we drive ourselves in a vehicle do you know if we can drive into the park ourselves? We love hiking and hope to drive up to the peak and do some hiking in this beautiful place.

Good stuff. I believe the military personnel were plagued with leeches during the VN war. Many leeches are significantly larger. Those looked like baby leeches. I think I would’ve worn hiking boots with socks even though it’s hot. I also would’ve used a bug repellent even for a casual hike.
How is the heat? You are all brave!
We were in Miami before. Our basketball team is called "Miami Heat" lol we will be okay. Haha but it does get hot during the summer. Very hot! Over 40 degrees Celsius sometimes
But in that mountain it was very fresh. It's not crazy hot just yet. Maybe in July and August
I went to Hue and Danang April 2019. The heat in Hue was already a killer. Thanks for your sharing Ralph! Love to see you both enjoying your time there..

@@RalphClescaVlogs Ohh, like that....2 years ago, I could drive by motorbike to the Top of the mountain and stayed there 1 night so I had time to explore that waterfall. The waterfall and 1 night stay is amazing.

Also the color of our skin... I understand that is not something they are exposed to all the time. But either way... What I mean is it all has the opposite effect here... They are more Intrigued than anything else...
