Thanks for a great review. I appreciate your honesty as unfortunately these days a lot of content creators are sponsored and because of that they tend to not be truly honest about the products they're reviewing.
You are very welcome and I appreciate your feedback. Honestly, I do receive loads of products for a review but! I always mention what I find negative or that something isn’t what it should be. I comes doen to a point where I destroy the integrity of my videos and content. That is why those are called incluencers and the ones that state the facts are actual reviewers. Again, thanks for the fredback! Means a lot! 🤗
Hey, great vid. The steering wheel clamp does look like quite an inconvenience. I suppose if you feel comfortable doing it and don't mind possibly voiding the warranty you could measure the screw holes and drill it yourself. Not sure if that's something you have considered. Anyway, keep up the great work and enjoy
Well the table clamps aren't designed for this type of sim rig that is for sure. I could drill, but honestly, hoping I will upgrade the base to something more powerfull. R9 or R16. Who knows. Until then, I won't drill a thing until I see how those fit. :) But of course, much appreciate the idea. I did think about it, but since I am overwhelmed with other worked, I am driving now with clamps. The don't bother me that much, so I can work with it as it is. :) Thank you very much for the comment. Means a lot!
I was able to find this rig via Black Friday sales for €1700/ €2300 total, shipped to the United States in under a week. A total steal! It should be arriving today. I cannot wait! Your review made me feel so much confidence about my purchase. I own the other Playseat F1 chair and had the same complaints as you about the FFB and rig flexing. Also the center post was unbearable once I switched to a Fanatec DD1 base with high torque.
Oh man, that price was a steal. Wish I manage to grab it for that price. :P But great man. Glad for you. Yeah, there are some downsides which I mentioned, but all in all satisfied. I would be even more if I managed to get that price. :) Enjoy!
@@PCCrazyDario how do you get in and out of the rig? I haven’t figured out whether I want to slide the wheel back, the chair back, both, or take my wheel off. I find it hard to get my chair back in the perfect position each time. But I worry that taking my wheel off every time, might cause trouble eventually even though it’s the fanatec quick release.
@@jfull1914 I slide my chair fully at the back, than stand between the wheel and the seat. Hold the left and right rail with my hands and nice and slowly sit down. Then I just slide right in. You could always slide the wheel as well and just mark the position that is best for you to get that extra space, but so far, I have only moved the chair when I have found a perfect position for everything. Of course, I do have to mention that I have around 72-ish kg, so the rig does flip when I hold it and sit down with my full weight on the rig holding me not to fall in the chair. Hope this helps a bit.
Hi, thank you for the review. If have the possiblity to buy this rig used for a nice price but I race more ACC and so I hesitate because of the sitting position. What do you think?
If you drive anything else than F1, I wouldn't suggest it. Rather go with Trak Racer that has a possibility to adjust the seat for everything, e.g. F1, GT, Rally.
Hi This is very good video It's hard to get this chair in Asia because of shipping and manufacturing issues .Postage MAYBE costs €700 TT。The problems you mentioned do affect the mood of the buyer!!!It seems that playseat is not the top one!!!
Ugh, €700 for shipping. Man, you could grab another seat or for instance MOZA R5 Bundle for that money. Yeah, if I knew them before, I would consider something else with that price tag. But to be honest, I am a sucker for the looks. And this simulator has the best design without a doubt.
Build quality seems shocking. I have the Playseat Formula and considering an upgrade. This has helped me stay away from the Intelligence/Ultimate. I am likely to go with the Trak Racer TRX.
Build quality is solid, but something is lacking when you do that connection I mention in the video. It is just so strange when you connect it. But to be honest, I am currently using R16 from MOZA Racing and the sim rig is surviving. :) TrakRacer TRX looks amazing for sure.
I might be grabbing that one for Rally and GT with Handbrake and Shifter since it has a holder... :) PlaySeat Trophy, even though being modular and adjustable, can't be adjusted this much for F1 driving.
@@PCCrazyDario That part is missing on the Playseat Trophy. No real F1 positioning. Well do you want to drive longer than 2 hours? There is a limit to F1 race time, due to the fact that keeping your legs up like that is hard for the blood veins.

You can build the same one with 8020 for half the price incl. the seat
You mean they stole from you lmao that’s not worth that 😂
Use WD-40 to get rid of the noise when Adjusting the seat :) worked for me
Tried WD-40, nothing. Tried Castrol motor oil, nothing. :) Thanks for the tip though. ;)
thank you brother for the great video, you really helped me with my decision ✌️
Thank you for the comment. :)

I would go to the next level racing brand instead
DIRECT DRIVE PRO What do you think about buying ADAPTER?
You mean the Fanatec DD Pro? What about the adapter?
Playseat Trophy will do and you can lift it up.

20 to 30 min. a day, is considered healthy. :)
@@Vaeshkar I sometimes drive for more than 4 hours 🤣🤣🤣 Legs start to hurt after 3rd hour. 😂
@@PCCrazyDario We don't have 4 hour races in FIA's F1 for a reason. :)
I have the Trophy and that is the sweet spot.
What’s the difference between this and the intelligence model
Too pricey eh! I'm sticking with my Playseat Formula Red; unless I win the lottery eh :)
Indeed 😬
What is the size of your TV in inches?
55" :)
Hi can i use the fanatec v3 loadcell on this playseat or does it break like the evolution?
Sorry man, wouldn't know since I don't have anything from Fanatec. :(
My playseat challenge is better
Good for you.
@@PCCrazyDario I know
