So I Bought one of these and really like it. seeing the extended mag option is great, may look into it. But I do have a couple gripes so far.
With some other cordless nailers you only need press the trigger to bring it out of slumber, but with this you need to press the buttons down on the base. And if it times out and you grab it to nail it can be frustrating to have to re set up after powering on again.
The other gripe is the bump/sequential selection. If you want the sequential that's fine.. First press safety nose then fire. But on bump fire in my opinion you should be able to do both. You may be rapid firing and then need to toe nail something.. You would then need to change your selection, do your toenails, then switch it back to keep going. I don't see any safety reason why it's that way, but apparently on the older models it was the way that I am describing that I would prefer.

I agree and I commend them for bring it to the market.
I also agree that the nailer times off too quickly.
My company owns 6 of these Metabo nailers, 2 Metabo duplex nailers, and one Metabo positive placement nailer.
My main gripe with the framing nailer is with the bump/sequential modes.
Metabo says it is for safety reasons.
I find the way they have it set is less safe because we are unlikely to stop and switch it over in order to toenail.
The firing mode selection is standing in the way of a truly great nailer.
Hopefully RUclips content creators can band together to affect some change.
