The Home Free boys just had Fun…&, their harmonies are Always on point….just too Awesome 🙃🫶🏼🤣‼️🎶🎵🎶‼️🤣🫶🏼🙃
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Both versions of this amazing song are equally amazing in their own rights. Home Free has a way of respecting and acknowledging an original while adding its own talents and skills to the mix! This is first time I've seen a reactor play them back to back -- great fun! Home Free, btw, is my favorite of the a cappella bands so popular today. They're all wonderfully talented, but somehow I always come home to these guys [pun intended].
Thank you. I hadn't heard either of these before but enjoyed them. My question is what is going on that people will view a video on a channel and not hit the like button. Sad.
The Blake Shelton version was a social commentary with some sideways pokes at "proper" society. The Home Free version was a party in the first degree. Both are wonderful at what they do.
I like both these videos. It’s funny that Chance is the most country out of all the guys 😂
Lol, totally 😆
I am VERY familiar with the Home Free version, but had never seen/heard the original. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the introduction.
Glad you enjoyed it!
As far as licking your plate, in the right company and the right food, i have absolutely done that. Lolol😅
😆
One thing that's funny about Home Free's video is that the awkward "city slicker" is played by the Southerner who was raised the deepest in the sticks. I mean several miles down a dirt road past peanut and cotton fields, carrying a machete to get past fallen trees and watch out for snakes deep. The lady holding the chicken is Olena, Austin's ex. The blonde with her is Jenika Marion, Tim's wife. They both have/had positions on the backstage crew for videos and tours.
Thanks for the trivia!
Home Free introduced me to a lot of the songs they cover, so I often don't know the originals or the videos the original artists made. I like this setup for watching both. I'm not really sure a comparison for purposes of determining the "better" version is appropriate since the cover artists, expecially Home Free, always do something to make the song uniquely theirs. In this case, Home Free took it the other direction and showed the city boy in the country instead of the country boys in the city.
I'm curious to know if you've done any other Home Free covers.
Chance's base guitar imitation is a thing for legends. 17:00 Having Austin's melody work as a supporting crane for Tim's lead is a rare reversal.
Totally- I love how they’re constantly changing it up
OMG ! I love your channel, make up, etc.
😊 thank you
Can’t wait for you to get to “Listen to the Music” by The Doobie Brothers and Home Free….talk about a contrast.
I’ll put it on the list- thanks for your support 💛
Don't forget "All About that Bass"!!
Love both versions of this classic.
