I love this visualization it could be groundbreaking- I employ a similar visual approach to memorizing chords and scales that is like shapes made from constellations; much more appealing and approachable
Well Done. very creative way to visualize drums. I am an experienced musician who just started learning drums. This is perfect for me to learn beats quickly. I just subscribed to your channel. cant wait to see more beats.
@@DrumsetFundamentals Thank so much. I have since checked out at least six types: the 2/3 and 3/2 versions of Son, Rhumba, and Bossa Nova. I've subscribed and will be liking and checking out your other videos.
it can, but if you think of this rhythm as 2 bars of 4/4, then it's 1/8th notes. You can consider this as one bar too then it's 1/16th notes, but it's less common to feel it that way.
Hi Bob, As the idea of the serie, is just to present the groove and it's properties, i choose a "typical" tempo, but i don't plan to do multiple times the same groove just to change the tempo.
if you put in 1.75x you re playing Break on trough to the other side🇧🇷
GENIUS… ABSOLUTE GENIUS. YOU ARE A GODSEND
John Densmore said this many times
1.5 is more the tempo
This is one of the most innovative ways to learn drums! I’m eternally grateful! lol
Hi, One Bad Hombre ! Thank you very much !

This is super handy and a brilliant way to visually convey the four limbs. Bravo.
Really interesting to see the beat in a geometric way
This is amazing. Thank you

Agree with all the compliments about this visualization method. Please keep it up
So fortunate to have found this.
Put it at x2 it sounds like samba
1.5
It sounds amazing 👌🏾
Man, really
this is obvious since Bossa Nova is a sub genre of Samba or rather, a slow samba
This is so good
excellent, perfect for what I want
Is there software that allows you to "draw" drum rhythms in circles, like this, and then play them back?
must be, if they had made it.
This is great really good way of getting this across
thank you !

The visual map is perfect. Now I'm wondering of the cross stick is a standard "clave" beat or slightly modified
Hi, thank you. No the cross stick rhythm is not the standard clave.

It's a pain in the ass to play... very fun though.
Does each dot represents 1/16th time?
it can, but if you think of this rhythm as 2 bars of 4/4, then it's 1/8th notes. You can consider this as one bar too then it's 1/16th notes, but it's less common to feel it that way.
