I really like the way you've used your vibrato and glisses in the choruses, it really conveys the passion to the song, the contrast between the verse and the chorus in terms of timbre and dynamics is also awesome. Above all though? Those harmonies! Perfectly chosen and I absolutely love the suspended second you put in in the last chorus, gave me shivers!

The 'Girl its you i lie with memories of them flash. In the ending chorus I also imagine that the bomb hit those two were together and one of them survived holding their lover's corpse to their chest. idrk this is just what came to mind and it really made me cry lol
The story that led Matt Maltese to make this song is actually Donald Trump and I forgot her name but she’s in British parliament who wants to bring nuclear warfare “back.” He made the song because he thought it was a funny image but also made it the way it is so his mom could listen to it without knowing the meaning behind the song! A truly beautiful masterpiece, this song.

I just came across this one, really good, but I also want to mention the difference I noticed between this cover and the original song. Not going to mention the stuff you probably already hear a lot, so I'll just say that your cover sounds more lovesick rather than the original which is more like "I know you're the one." I don't have a word for it, but yeah. Yours is just more "I'd stay with you even if the world is ending" and the original is more like "the world is ending and I'd like to spend my last breaths with you."
