OHMYGOD HEY!
The beloved A.A Milne book and Disney film character Winnie the Pooh has finally made it to the stage.
A new musical featuring Winnie and his friends uses puppetry to bring the Hundred Acre Wood residents to life and is currently playing at London's Riverside Studios ahead of a UK Tour.

Honestly, that was a great Winnie the Pooh impression!
When I watch shows with puppets I never know if I’m supposed to look at the actor or the puppet. I never get fully immersed. But that’s just me. I wish I could be able to immerse myself
Honestly a massive missed opportunity to call it the Winnie the Poohsical 😂
Still a bit bummed I missed my stop during the US tour. I'm however glad that Disney & Pooh fans alike who don't live closer to the parks or are unable to go have yet another way to get a bit of that magic at home. Fun fact is on the US tour for most of it we have a young adult playing Christopher Robin instead of a child.

Same. Was really excited to take my kid, but we were part of the tour that got canceled. I'm going to be in the UK visiting family and might try to take my son then if we have time.
The puppets remind me of the musical Starship by Team Starkid (the whole thing is on RUclips for free, highly recommend). The way the puppets are attached to the actors seems very similar to the puppets in Starship

The Winnie the Pooh show was supposed to end the US tour in WI at the Wilson theater in Vogel hall but it was sadly canceled. Which is sad because I was considering going to see it. They were offering VIP tickets to meet the cast, and take pictures with them on stage. It was supposed to play until May 7th. I really wanted that Eeyore plush they were selling. Winnie the Pooh is such a huge part of my childhood. Idk what I’d do without him.
They canceled a huge chunk of the US tour due to "production issues". I couldn't find any additional details but I am really hoping it comes back.
@@scribbly2983 I really hope so too. I really want the merchandise as well it’s all so cute. Who knows maube Mickey will do a video discussing the cancelations of the tour

Know it was not just for kids my son is 34 and we in Newcastle it was very good idone care what people say my son loved it and we saw it in Newcastle and it was a good show I don't care what people say we in Newcastle uk I say well done 👍
Similar experience for US tour, which has a block of tickets for the VIP experience (which I did not buy, but I know is there according to announcements). I went to an evening performances, which was probably not the best experience, since we were missing an important piece: the kids ooh-ing and ah-ing. It's well put together though!
I saw it twice while it was still in New York to support someone I know in the show. I love Winnie the Pooh and the show was so cute. Everyone did an amazing job. But one of the times I went... the bar was open and I created a drinking game. My friends and I had a blast lol we told our friend in the show and he thought it was so funny he told the rest of the cast.
