so★ you can't do that, it is because they have different time of infusion. Green tea take 2 minutes and black tea 4 to 5 minutes. So if you infuse green tea more than 2 minutes you will have a bitter infusion. In the other hand, if you infuse black tea less that the time require, you will have a tasteless hot water.
personally I would go with green tea due to the fact it fights cancerous diseases since my family is more prone to it, doctors had my brother drinking this while he was at valley children's, and Lucile Packard children hospital in Stanford for his colon cancer and sarcoma, it did help him for the mean time, but we lost my little brother 💚15 years young
well green tea at noon is better option even though green tea contain less caffeine, it still has caffeine that you cannot ignore... i can suggest chamomile or sage tea for night
The tea may be good but it's the bag that may become toxic when heated because of the plastic. These bags may leach out chemicals called PVC. THERMOPLASTIC, AND VISCOSE. Also there are other chemicals as well that I did not mention. On the other hand the NYLON AND PET bags are the safest because they have extremely high melting points. Which means that the plastic chemicals will most likely not leach out into the tea
I have just noticed that I haven't had as much back pain after starting to drink green tea over a week ago. I cold brew it, more like room temperature brew it. I just place a tea bag in a water bottle and let it sit for a few hours or overnight and then I drink it throughout the day. No sugar or sweeteners, just the tea.
Green tea leaving overnight? What a waste 😂. But when it works for you. Why not? Seriously green yea may infuse water only for 2 minutes... Then it starts become bitter and bitter...
I mixed them both, one bag of black with one bag of green let it steep for 3min, add a little natural honey, a little piece of fresh ginger and some lemon slices and ready!!! .... my favorite thing in the morning! Makes me happy 😊
Growing up my Dad liked black tea and my mom liked green tea. At dinner we would always have a pot of black tea and mom would make a cup of green tea for herself. I have always been a fan of black tea. It has the taste that says "tea" for me. Today I mostly drink decaffeineted black tea as I try to avoid caffeine. It mostly will come down to personal preference and taste which one a person chooses.
I have been drinking green tea. But with this new understanding I'm increasing it to 3. Cups per day, making one black. It will be in the afternoon since black its more energizing and course the extra boost in the afternoon😊
You guys should try matcha too! It’s legit the same leaf as black and green tea but it’s stoned into powder that you mix into your drink. It’s richer, packed with antioxidants, and can replace your coffee easily!
I'm still confused on why people don't drink tea at all they always go to the liquor store or the gas station for something more unhealthy and yet no one even considers or even asks on whether Tea Works or what the benefits are disappointing I love tea only helps you get better
Never knew about green tea until it became so popular in the states maybe 10 years or so ago, but my mom Always drank black tea…So I will start drinking both teas… Thanks for the tip in brewing times… 👏🏽💕🙏🏽
I think, black tea wakes me up better and green tea is just more tasty the rest of the day. So black tea to wake up with, and green tea for lunch and supper, SO GOOD!
Both black and green tea are good and they can also be brewed together. I have been drinking tea daily throughout adult life and have experienced good health from it, especially a stable metabolism (my weight at age 85 never changed). It is necessary to acquire the taste of tea in the natural form without addition of cream or sugar, to avoid negating all the many natural benefits.
Began drinking a lot of different teas, all sort of different herbs etc. My favorite thus far is loose green tea. Makes me feel the best so far. Energized, but not hyper so I can't relax. The Black Tea I have, could give me "too much" energy. I also prefer the milder taste of the Green Tea. But with most things. Switch it around. The good feelings wont last from one product. Need to switch things around now and then. Just glad I'm realy enjoying Green Tea, body and mind currently. :) Happy Tea Brewing!
first time i had black tea, i was at a summer camp, and i couldn't sleep because my roommates were being loud, one snoring, and the other laughing at his phone. i found a box with different teas in it, and i made the black tea, and put in 6 sugars. needless to say, i didn't sleep for a whole day, and then i couldn't stay up afterwards😂
The Goodly Dragon you can just drink more cups ofcourse. Also, it’s better to maintain your caffeine level, coming from someone that used to drink multiple red bulls a day
I never had green tea until I was an adult. So, I'm not used to its taste, it tastes weird to me. Since they both have benefits, I'm just gonna enjoy my black tea without FOMO.
I prefer white tea over either black or green. The white has no caffeine kick and much higher antioxidants than either of the others, plus it taste wonderful.
@@henrytaverner1803 Might be the chemicals or the soil that affects some tea drinkers. Just like wine, if you don't like it or have issues with headaches just try a different brand .

From research the two things that are a big factor is amount of pesticides & Fluoride. It's easy to lower this by a few ways. Buy organic tea if your worried about chemicals being applied. Fluoride depends on soil but the tip is not to leave the tea bag in for too long, the longer the tea sits the more Fluoride gets extracted. I think 4-6 mins is the sweet spot from what most companies claim. If you have well water rather than city water, this won't be a problem since MOST wells lack Fluoride. Too much of it can actually make you stupid and there is proof too much Fluoride have other bad side effects but you would have to drink a lot of it.
My taste buds are not refined enough for green tea. I've drank all sorts of green teas and to me they are just mildly colored hot water. Strongest ones I can smell, but they still taste like nothing. So I stick to earl grey.
Good. Now remember these things: 1) The very best tea is the one you drink with less sugar. Matter of flavor preference on your part. 2) Tea is a drink that you can use as the beverage to accompany any food, instead of wine, beer or any other malignant soft drink full of gas and liver-killing fructose. Besides, you can use tea either hot or cold, thus replacing lots of harmful refreshments. 3) Just prefer normal leaf tea to the little bags, because these are just made from useless leaf scraps. Yeah, the usual scam of selling sub-par stuff for the price of the real deal... Hint: I tend to prefer Chinese and Ceylan teas, but again it's a matter of taste. Just if you can, avoid the packets... Earl Grey is also one of my favorites and can be easily found.
Black tea, named after the red color of its tea soup and leaves, is a famous historical tea in China. It is a fermented tea that originated in the Ming Dynasty of China and is deeply loved by overseas people. Black tea production technology is advanced, and data shows that the tea polyphenols in black tea have been reduced by more than 90%, producing beneficial ingredients such as theaflavins and thearubigins. Black tea is of extremely high value. It can relieve fatigue, be a diuretic, strengthen bones, resist aging, nourish the stomach and protect the stomach, and relax blood vessels. The most famous black tea is Keemun black tea, which is the second largest tea category in my country. The main Chinese black teas include: Keemun black tea, Lapsang souchong, Jinjunmei, and Dianhong.
I really like black tea best. I like Earl Gray and my favorite is Olong and I can't find it anywhere. I would especially like to find it in organic but would accept inorganic. Who has it?
I have both of these tees, so what I do is, I take a little pinch with my hand of both Green and black teas and make a a big cup of home tea mix with lemon and a little bit of Stevia (no sugar). I LOVE IT. ITS TEA TIME IN AMERICA.
Both are equal and taste great, but I prefer black tea all day. At times green tea gives me a headache. Idk maybe it’s just me thinking too much into it.

Thanks for the reply, it was really informative. The green tea (it is written organic green tea on the pack) that I have made is little bitter, is it because of over heating the water.
Over heating and over brewing are both factors in bitter green tea . You want the tea to be nice and light in color , and also re-brewing green tea that has already been brewed is a good way to enjoy green tea . That's the main reason that in tea ceromonys the frist brew is not used the second and third brew is always the best . What I do for my green tea is instead of using a kettle to boil my water I use a saucepan that way I can see when the water is about to boil and just before the bubbles form like when the tiny bubbles are on the bottom of the pot I take the water off the heat and I use that for my green tea that way it's not too hot but it still hot enough to make tea sometimes if I don't pay attention it burns my tea leaves so right before bubbles from is best for green tea
If it isn't Camellia Sinensis IT IS NOT TEA. Other herbs, spices, flower and fruits are called infusions. The different styles types of teas come from the different methods of drying and processing the leaves of Camellia Sinensis. Green teas are energetic and refreshing. Black teas are soothing and comforting. Red tea is good for digestion. You can't brew those different teas at the same time because they have different time of brewing in order not to damaged the taste and the properties.
+Night Light White tea, green tea, oolong tea and black tea all have very different flavors, you wouldn't say that they are all from the same plant if you didn't know about the subject. They also require different brewing temperature and steeping time. Won't be a good idea to mix green and black and just brew it.
Throw the green tea and black tea together. Add to my multi-nutritional smoothie. Mix it in with all those great vegetable and fruits and oils. Let the body sort it out to make me strong!
Thank you! I love black tea plus as I've gotten older green tea now makes me nauseous.. I'm glad I don't have to feel so bad about cutting out green tea!
It sounds to me that green tea wins overall because at 4:00 it says that green tea can lower LDL cholesterol, something that black tea is already known for, thus giving green tea an additional advantage.
I mean put a green tea bag and a black tea bag in the same cup and go nuts...
Brilliant Omfg life changer. I'm over here drinking black tea & green tea separate. I'm about to be looking flawless. inside and out.

so★ black tea benefits from a higher temperature water when brewing than the temp you use to brew green tea.

I like a very strong black tea. Is it just me, or does green tea leave you feeling a lil’ bloated?
I. Like. Both. It's. Healthy. And. Immunity. Power. For. Us. In. Winter. And. Rainy. Season.
mix both why not?
+Night Light White tea, green tea, oolong tea and black tea all have very different flavors, you wouldn't say that they are all from the same plant if you didn't know about the subject. They also require different brewing temperature and steeping time. Won't be a good idea to mix green and black and just brew it.
Throw the green tea and black tea together. Add to my multi-nutritional smoothie. Mix it in with all those great vegetable and fruits and oils. Let the body sort it out to make me strong!
Nice tea comparison.
Does it matter whether the tea is hot or cold?
Thank you! I love black tea plus as I've gotten older green tea now makes me nauseous.. I'm glad I don't have to feel so bad about cutting out green tea!
I was taking green tea but now i hve switched to black tea😮
Pure leaf unsweetened black or green tea. Best brands.

I prefer black tea I do love the taste of Black tea
I vote for green tea, even though I haven't tried it yet it sounds very good for you.
Does green tea posses flavour
Just put them together it’s a win win no matter how you put it from what I see
Really strong black tea ☕️ is my favorite
It sounds to me that green tea wins overall because at 4:00 it says that green tea can lower LDL cholesterol, something that black tea is already known for, thus giving green tea an additional advantage.
Green tea has more L-Theanine which you missed out btw
What does that mean?
Not really, matcha had more ltheanine than black tea, the regular green tea has less ltheanine than black tea
@@professionalhotdogpeeler L-theanine increase alpha brain waves which promote relaxation and calmness hence reduce anxiety or panic disorders.
i prefer green tea as it has no caffeine in it. also sugar not needed for the green tea which makes it a win win situation.
Thank you so much
