Actually Pearl River's stick was flying at the time. That is where the light shining in the smoke was from. There was also 2 other ladders up in the front.
The fire came thru when the roof failed in the back area of the Dollar General.
I believe they were also having water supply issues with the main and the amount of water they were getting out of it.

You have no clue at all what went on at this fire I assume so you have absolutely no say lol
The first arriving units actually did enter the range and did knock all visible fire down, still had a heavy smoke condition and it eventually just started getting worse on them.
The issue is this mall is old and had a lot of voids for the fire to travel.
They had fire in the walls, fire under the floors of the Dollar General and Dunkin Donuts which was also the ceiling to the Gun Range. There was a void between the two. They had fire in the roof area and the outside Soffit.
Eventually the ceiling to the range had a structural collapse. Then later on as you see in the video the roof to the Dollar General failed.
Unfortunately they were way behind the fire on arrival.
They attacked this fire the best they could while doing their best to keep everyone safe.
Firefighter safety always comes first over anything else.
6 Firefighters got injured during this fight.
Question is, are you a firefighter? If so what would ya have done differently?

@@malcolmcossar6447 Thanks. The initial automatic came in around 12:00 hrs Sunday 11-28 and command was finally terminated at 22:35 on Mon 11-29.
They were there on scene for almost 36 hours. Yeah I wasn't gonna let that comment go untouched.
