Clean my MAC is good and I have been using it ok my macs for years. it uninstalls easily and doesn’t blast with annoying pop ups. It literally does speed up your Mac and keep it clean unlike the other apps you may be thinking off.
Clean My Mac is an excellent piece of software. Mac Keeper is the one you need to watch out for. That software is awful and almost impossible to get off your system once you have it on there.
i miss the option to turn the dock and task bar dark in light mode!!! everything dark is too much for me but wish i could just turn the taskbar, dock and photos app dark!!
1. System Preferences > General > Switch to Light mode 2. Enter the following into Terminal: defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool Yes Log out and log back in. Switch to dark mode. To reverse: Repeat step 1 2. Enter the following in Terminal: defaults delete -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance Log out and log back in and it should be back to normal. ;))))
It would be really awesome if dark mode would adjust along with the dynamic wallpapers! Or if you could put a little toggle button in the menu bar to turn it on and off.
Yeah, it needs to be started from the Applications Folder the first time after installing Mojave, and the Finder will ask if the Dock can have permission, just okay it and your normal keyboard combo will bring it back instantly. Sadly, the Translation widget doesn't work now, and I relied on that a lot.
I used your other video on this your youtube channel to create a bootable USB drive in terminal. And I did a successful clean install of macOS Mojave, thanks in part to you. :)

I am using MacOs Mojave, and i am disappointed. This is not an update, this is a patch with silly new features. I do not need emoji garbage, i need stability, speed, power, real functionality, much better e-mail software, INTEGRATED NTFS work possibilities, and many more.
Preach on! I feel the same way. I've experienced a few issues with mapped drives, keychain, icloud, and battery life. I have to STOP upgrading unless there's something I have to have instead of these minor features. I'll learn one day.
Great presentation of the Mojave features Jeff! I tried the screen shot feature and recorded a portion of this video and it worked great, however when I viewed the recording, there was no sound. Not sure if there is a way to incorporate sound, however it is a cool feature. Thanks for posting this and if you have any suggestions on the sound problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
Not an early adopter, but a couple of acquaintances of mine were beta testers, and they told me this was the most bug-free beta since Yosemite, which was an extremely stable version of macOS. I took the plunge with my 2012 MacBook Pro, Intel i7 2.9GHz and 1TB SSD, and I'm already blown away. Love the dark mode and the dynamic wallpaper. Siri got some much needed improvements, too! I haven't found anything not to like about Mojave.
Dynamic is my Jam, the seamless transition during the day is great. I usually prefer darker wallpapers, but also colour. and typically you don't just swap out wallpapers. hopefully we will see more dynamic wallpapers
there's so many bugs in Mojave... my iMac crashed, got stuck on loading apple logo and I lost all my data, on MacBook Air I've lost admin account. WTF?
Before I download the new iOS, I had a question pertaining to the screen recording function. Does the screen record function allow for recording specific windows like full screen games or video, or does it default to the desktop screen? Also, what is the quality of the video that's being recorded?
Question: I wish to upgrade to Mojave on my 2014 Macbook Pro but I am concerned if the upgrade will do anything to my 2010-2011 Microsoft Word program in which I need for school and papers. Will Microsoft Word remain unchanged if I upgrade?

Did you notice any improvement in load time for JPEGs in Finder's QuickLook on Mojave? Interface looks great, wondering how performance is. It's been extremely slow on 10.13 -even compared to my other MBPs on 10.8.5 and earlier. Used a plugin to improve .CR2s but cannot find anything for JPEG.
I'm gonna try it, mainly motivated by the desktop stacks feature. I didn't even know Safari would not show website favicons on tabs before. So used to use G. Chrome. Tnx for the video.
im happy with the speed and stability of el capitan. do you think mojave will slow things down for me? im rocking a mid 2012 mbp 2.5ghz 8gb (final model with super drive before retina models).
i only ask because newer versions of ios have a tendency to make older iphones run slower, trying to push consumers to buy the newest model. i dont want that to happen to my macbook. i like having this model because i pulled the superdrive and replaced it with second hdd, and i can upgrade the ram if i want (2 things retinas cant do). anyways, thanks for the advice.

There's a bug I guess. When I log in(after entering the password) it blacks out and then restarts again showing the apple logo and then logs me in.

I upgraded from Sierra 10.12.6, and Mojave is everything High Sierra should have been and I'm glad I waited. High Sierra sucks.

Stacks sounds very useful. I use 3 monitors so can visualize Stacks being the perfect "at a glance" file system on a separate monitor.
