Also, Barbossa is the name of the biggest european pirate of all time, raiding from the mediterranean up to the channel and even iceland with a massive muslim pirate fleet, enslaving people and giving them back for ransom for the richer part. He also attacked big citys and sieged naval fortresses. The Name Barbossa is a nickname that came from his lost eye and his red beard.
I love how, especially for the original trilogy, the themes reflected the characters they lined up to, so Barbossa's isn't necessarily a villain theme, more just a villainous sounding version of the main heroic theme, and Davy Jones' theme is more sad than sinister, as it reflects the sorrow that drove him to villainy.
Pipe organs are prominent in both his theme and that of the kraken. As with Grim Grinning Ghosts before them and Nightmare King after, the one thing the organ stands for is death.

if u think about it Jones and Vader have so many similarities. Both are deformed cuz of their loved ones, both are the most feared vilians in their worlds, their themes are the two most iconic music pieces in their movies, they both have a weapon that no one wants to face (death star and kraken), they are both puppets of someone bigger (the Emperor and Beckett), they both have a very tragic story behind their cruelty, and lastly they are my two favourite vilians in my two favourite movie series
All of them are great, but I love how Jones is so unique, not better but completely different from the rest, Each one of them are empowering, we can hear the determination of the characters, BlackBeard is Just evil, And Barbosa's theme shows us that deep within him there's still good. But Davy and Salazar's are the most interesting to me, because there are parts of quietness on their tracks but they are so different, Salazar's quietness in the theme gives me a sensation of cunningness, inner wrath and Machiavellianism while Davy is pure sadness an melancholy, I can see that while one just hates his maker (Jack Sparrow) the other has hate in his heart but is just a secondary emotion, his first one is sadness and disappointment Because contrary to Salazar he still loves Calypso despite all she has done to him, he doesn't want to kill Calypso, like Salazar wanted to do with Jack, he desire to have an stable relationship with the sea goddess something impossible, that somewhat he utterly needs, I don't know if it's obssesion or the purest type of love that I've ever seen, whatever it is I'll always want a redemption for the capitan of the flying Dutchman, and that's the biggest difference between these two paranormal hateful gentlemen, and Why Davy's theme is so unique.

Now salazar if diforent, salazar's theme doesn't tell a story like Jones does but more sets a tone of how the character feels and who the character is. The loud part is angery and violent showing us he hatred he feels toward Captain Jack Sparrow, the loud part of the song is ment to make us feel the characters pure hatred towards Sparrow. While the softer part is diforent. Unlike Jones the soft part isn't heat ach or betrayal, it has an Erie feeling to it, like it's trying to say "these guys are fucking terrifying" and it's true, but while it is creepy it's also a but tragic, salazar's back story is tragic but not in the way Jones is. Salazar basicly almost rid the world of pirates, a hero in his time but right as celebration was about to commence Jack Sparrow taught the Spanish hero and tricks him to his death cursing him to haunt the seas. Both themes are extremely good, and both do what they were made to do, help us understand the character, while jones' theme tels a story Salazar's tells us th emotions of the character.
