First of all, I love this! I love listening to the movie versions of scores and following them along in my head.
I want to try and list all the timestamps of the most important moments that I can from the greatest movie finale of all time.
00:11 "Then what shall we die for?"
    1:10 "Hoist the colours!!"
2:13 "Tell Jones to give them no quarter. That should brighten his day."
    2:30 "Kaylipso...."
    3:25 "MALESTROM!"
3:29 "Barbossa, we need you at the helm!"
4:00 "Raise the yard you kackheaded deck apes. Dyin' is the day worth livin' for!"
4:20 Epic shot of the Durchmann and Black Pearl moving towards the malestrom.
4:35 Black Pearl begins to ready her cannons. "Keep that powder dry!"
6:15 Flying Dutchman deploys her cannons.
    6:37 "FYAHHHHH"
    8:12 "Leverage"
8:37 "Lookie here. A little byerd who never learnt to fly"
9:00 "To my great regret. But, never to late to learn, eh?"
9:23 "I can set you free, mate"
9:34 "My freedom was lost a long time ago."
10:47 "Elizabeth, will you marry me?"
10:51 "I don't think right now is the best time."
    11:11 "Barbosa, marry us!"
11:17 "I'M A LITTLE BIT BUSY AT THE MOMENT"
11:49 "Dearly beloveds we be gathered here today..."
    12:57 Will and Elizabeth kiss.
13:21 This isn't a very important moment, but musically, IT IS THE COOLEST PART OF THE SONG. Bringing back the combat motif from The Dead Man's chest is just so good.
13:55 "You can do nothing without the key"
14:35 Davey Jones breaks Jack's sword.
    14:44 "Oi. My pistol."
    18:46 Davey Jones stabs Will.
19:33 "Tell me, Mr Turner. Do you fear death?"
19:38 "Do you?" I also want to point out that the music takes on a rhythm which sounds like a heartbeat as soon as Jones' heart comes out of the chest.
20:18 Bootstrap Bill attacks Davey Jones
    20:40 Davey Jones dies.
21:04 The Black Pearl begins to win the fight.
21:56 "The Dutchman must have a captain."
22:18 Jack and Elizabeth escape the Dutchman. (I never realized how beautiful this bit was.)
23:21 The Black Pearl and HMS Endevour move towards each other, ready to battle to the death. (This part is just so epic)
25:17 The Flying Dutchman emerges, under the command of Will.
25:25 The Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman surround the Endevour.
    26:15 "Orders Captain?" "Fire."
    26:42 "It's just... good business."
    27:54 Cutler Beckett dies
LMK if I got any of these wrong. I'm sure some are mis-timed or messed up somehow. I did my best lol.

I think that goes for literally everything about this sequence. It's the perfect balance of epic, hilarious, and tragic. The cinematography is nothing fancy, just action filmmaking at its finest. This is a thirty minute war scene that in a lot of other films would fail terribly or get cut down to like fifteen or ten minutes, but works so well here because it has the narrative and emotional heft of an entire trilogy behind it. (I keep trying to use these words to describe it and how good it is but it's not really working)

This has the A, B, and C sections of the main love theme, plus the "Up Is Down" jig motif, PLUS this lovely violin phrase that plays only this once at the end of the film. Hmm I could try. The thing about "Parlay" is that it's a one-off cue; that epic guitar doesn't really play anywhere else in the score. I was able to do this because it's such a long scene with a lot of score that didn't make the main commercial release. "Parlay" would be trickier but I guess I could find other similarly epic versions of the theme that play throughout the score.
