It’s interesting to hear the portion on cremation versus burial. I’ve got loved ones who’ve done both things. Most people don’t choose cremation to snub their noses at God, they do so because it costs several thousands of dollars less to take care of the deceased body of their loved one using cremation. Too, some people cannot stand to let the body go, they choose to keep an urn. The other thought that pops to mind is that burial doesn’t assure remaining bones in the end. If the casket isn’t well sealed, the body will decay to pretty much nothing anyway. I guess the Bible says “for dust you are, and to dust you shall return” for more than one reason. How much of our dead body remains should not be something we need to worry over. The reverence and love at our funeral ? Well, maybe we need to be sure we were great followers of Jesus so that people will actually find us worthy to be missed. The supernatural particulars…The Lord has that all figured out.
