Love that inline six about 3 minutes in. You do realize that once you've started it, it will never stop. Crew wants to go home at the end of the work day, but Deutz wants to keep going a second shift.

Work on theses engines but the v 8 ones had problems with number one cylinder on left bank breather pipe went into air manifold after some time later it would burn a hole in that piston

What amazes me is that these large diesel engines are AIR-cooled!
YES , alot of German engines are air cooled for a very good reason. Save as much water as possible, it is to only be used for making BEER.........

around 3:56 it seems to be an old Magirus Saturn bus. Any info about which bus and followup? Restored, still on street or onlyengine out for other projext and bus srapped???
I have a few Deutz.
They were good until they started using Rubber cam timing belts which fail and ruin motor.
I had two at 3000 hours blow up.

يا راجل حرام عليك ده هو اللي كان شايل مصر على كتفه في السلم وفي الحرب كان يجمع بواسطه شركه النصر السيارات بحلوان باسم النصر وأفيكو وقامت مصر بتصديره للجيش الجزائري والكويت تقريبا وبعض الدول أخرى انا لا أتذكر وقامت شركه النصر بوضع المحرك ع اوتبيسات النصر وتم تصديره للكويت أيضاً انت بتتكلم عن محرك ديزل ألماني صنع من حقبه الستينيات القرن الماضي والمفاجئه الكبرى انه مازال يعمل في مصر ها تلي محرك يتحمل دوله زي مصر و يعيش مثل هذا المحرك الذي مازال ينبض بالحياة في مصر احترم الماضي حتي يحترمك الحاضرون 🚒💪🚚💪🚛💪

the ingenuity of their design, lies in the fact that they were AIR-COOLED. back in the old country, farmers would have them power centrifugal pumps for irrigation, and vertical pumps. they were stationary, not mounted on a vehicle, yet wouldn't warp the block! WOW!
I have one mounted stationary powering a large corn hammer mill.Doesnt overheat and works like a charm
