Hey Medic, I just wanted to inform you that you were the first one to ever get me into hobbygrade rcs. I love them so much that i now have 3 (which is not alot, but im only 14). Last summer i saved up all my mowing money, i still didnt have enough to buy what i wanted and my birthday was 2 days ago. I finnally had enough money for a traxxas slash 2wd brushed. So what i did is i went to my hobby shop, bought a traxxas slash 2wd and took it to the boone hospital where i live. I purchased that RCFor the kids that have a dangourus cancer and dont have anything fun to do, the look on the kids face was CRAZY they were SOO happy!! I just wanted to let you know YOU are the one that brought those kids that rc, thank you for everything you do in the rc community and youtube. You are also the reason i have a youtube channel. THANK YOU YOUR THE BEST!!!
Bro if what you say is true. Good job!!! That’s an amazing story and I’m proud of you. Just know if you are lieing? 14 is not a good age to start. Thinking “just cause I’m on the internet, nobody will know!” Well integrity will know. And that would be so not cool!
You bet man!! Are you doing anything with RCSparks reboot? Thanks for everything you do for the show. 👍👍 you put in WAAAAY more effort than any other RUclipsr. 🙏
That is insane I’m going to have to pick one up when i get my trx4 bronco next month. Great demonstration of its capabilities, thanks for putting your own gear/money on the line so others don’t have to keep up the good work.
*WOW AARON!!!!* That winch is SICK!! 👍👍😎👏👏👏👏👏 I so wish I could get one. You have sold me on having a remote controlled Winch for sure! MUCH simpler, and I've got only 3-Channel Radios, and my 3rd Channel mainly controls lighting... Remote is definitely the way to go. Thanks for risking your own Winch, in that most impressive test!! Carmine 🚂
I cant afford to pay for one of those amazing vehicles but is entertaining to watch other people having fun whit them. soy fan de tu canal, saludos desde México
I love your show I learned a lot from you thanks to you I when back to rc again and I love every minute of it thanks again keep the good work I be your fan for life
Thanks for the video. i have my local shop getting me one. they sold the winch but not the remote to the last kit. after watching this i will DEF be getting one.
This is how I like to see a test done!!! If I am gonna spend over 100$ for a toy winch I want to know it works. Love these videos, best rc videos out there!
Aaron that was wicked!! I've been wondering the exact same thing since first reading the specs on RC4WD about this winch. Being that I build in nothing but metal, my RC's are admittedly a bit weighty yeah. So been looking at these winches for all my custom crawler builds but...do they do what they claim however, I just haven't had the budget to buy one yet. Well thanks Brother, asked & answered, you did me a big favor in another great video. No wonder I subscribe, lol. Take care huh, hoping to meet ya'll in the near future. PS - just fyi, Warn has done this test years ago with a 1:1 Jeep CJ7 to prove their winch's abilities. If I can find on youtube I'll share the link with ya'll.
They are worth every penny...already burnt out my 9.5 rc4wd warn...wouldn't buy anything less...I've been playing with the KMS servo winches...haven't had a chance to put them under any stress yet...
Scott A Henry - thanks for the info, very appreciated! I burnt out 1 of my 9.5's as well so wanted to check this out completely. If or when you do get any info on your KMS Servo winch, I'd be interested in hearing your results.
Haha nice to see the Ooutcast haha! I made a ramp similar to your Superman jump out of wood on my channel and I have used it to launch my Kraton and Outcast onto crazy high buildings. I am still working on my camera work but I look up to you and your videos.
im new to your channel and loving your videos. all these scale trucks make me want one. i finally got my aftershock up and going again just hard to run in all the snow were getting. glad to see you back up and moving again
Well thank you medic, I have the same wench. Ain't got to use it yet, but at least now I know it was worth the money, thank you for sharing that was awesome. I think I'll bolted up to my new TRX4 79 ford bronco
Rc4wd should sponsor you! I knew it would do it, I have there smaller winch and it's got enough power to lift my 10lb scx10. Good times! Have a great day
Pretty cool man! I own one that I haven't installed on my rig yet! And for the money spent it better work as advertised! But it's nice to know and see what can actually do! Very cool video! Thanks for posting:-)
I forget the channel offhand, but he shows similar using the heyok 4a winch controller for a 3racing winch... it's what I've used to deadlift a 10 pound rig... only 6 feet tho... lol... knowing you have a more than capable winch is well worth the cost and investment.... the smiles and fun are worth so very much though, thanks for sharing!
Nice test. I just installed the small version of the winch on my TRX4 Defender (9lbs 6oz fully loaded) and did the same test, just not as high. But even the small one had no trouble lifting my rig.
After seeing this video, I’m definitely going to have to get one for my cragsman. Only you would do something like this medic, keep making awesome videos!
Haven't we all wondered in the back of our mind.. if this winch would ACTUALLY make some serious power? Now we know. Its perfect.. Lol :) Thanks for the kind words Ryan.. really nice..
Man medic u always have the best rigs n the coolest stuff for them, appreciate the review on this product,at least we all know that for the money it will preform👍👍👊👊📹📹
Thats good to know I got one on order for my X MAXX and its going to also be my plow lift for up and down. Cool video always like watching your channel
I've been trying to decide between this Warn 8274 and the Warn 9.5 CTI,they both seem like they would be a great winch. After seeing this,I may spend the extra money and get this one. Thanks for the video brother!!!!
I've killed a 9.5 with little effort...save the pennies this is the one to get...haven't had an issue except breaking a 190# fishing line trying to get around a rock up hill....winch had no problem...
looks like your back is getting better. i have degenerative disc disease but in my upper back and when it flares up i can hardly move. i also saw that you had subscribed to my channel and i thank you for that. Glad to see your physically ok, im sure you always hurt but that comes with bad disks, just take it easy and dont overdo anything.
Hey man, thanks. Sorry to hear about your back too. I didnt pinch a disc the other day, just pulled a muscle really bad. If it was a disc.. i would have been in bed for two weeks.., then starting to move :( I was on a walker here for the last 3 days, just to get up and move.. but Im moving better now
Wow. Rated for 70 lbs, that's approx 5x more then the weight of the truck. No GVWR (maximum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating for a fully loaded vehicle) is listed for scale trucks of course, but Warn recommends a minimum 1.5x GVWR for matching a winch to vehicle. I too have this winch, yet have not used it, I also have the rc4wd winch control that i use for my 3racing winch, kinda surprised you aren't controlling the winch with the radio? I wonder if the rc4wd controller provides all the necessary amps to the winch, obviously it works but would a small esc do better? it was an rc day for me too and i didn't break anything,,, yet,,,, glad to see you on your feet.
Wow, that is actually pretty cool. That is one of the things that we (my brothers and I) have been thinking about but we were not really sure if they could withhold the punishment of what we may be giving it because two out of the three of us have rather heavy weights in the 10th scale area lol. Looks to be that this could have some win in the end for where we are with trees and sand when it comes to scale trail runs and all.
Normal people would question and their wives think they are nuts seeing an rc dangling. Im sure shes use to random tire tracks and that. Especially standing in your pajamas clearing snow with the skid-steer while in the living room drinking coffee. LOL
Awesome!!! I just took delivery of one but have yet to fit it and was concerned it would be strong enough for my Yeti XL with heaps of alloy parts added, now I am sure I made the right decision, my decision was based on the realistic resemblance to a Warn High mount fitted to a mates Toyota Land Cruiser, keep up the great work, and hey where can I buy some of your stickers, after all it is your videos that inspired me to buy the Yeti XL kit and then buy every Hot Racing hop up part they make .... I kid you not I can nearly build another with all the original part I have left over, about to start painting the lexan body panels
Nice I have the same winch on my 68 F100 ford ascender powered by a seperate Traxxas 7.2v 1200mah. I love it.Not many places I cant go with that piece of equipment.
That was nuts! I usually get the 35 dollar winch. I use mine for the scale look. I dont think I have any if them hooked up. That's a great looking, powerful, winch. I'm gonna have to get one for my Cragsman.
Good vid as always. Tho , it's not the first winch deadlift video. I did the same with a 480oz K2-FS KMS Winch almost two years ago....it was my first youtube video and it was mediocre at best. haha. But it picked up a Summit and three Trail Machines at around 40 pounds. Ya bud...you finally went out and got yourself a decent winch. I'm proud of you. hahaha.

Too cool man! Love that winch. Running the Warn 9.5cti on a Cherokee.
Nice! Great looking rig, too.
Well thank you medic, I have the same wench. Ain't got to use it yet, but at least now I know it was worth the money, thank you for sharing that was awesome. I think I'll bolted up to my new TRX4 79 ford bronco
I was able to capture what we have all would have imagined as kids.. and can play it again for our entertainment and confidence in the product ;)
Rc4wd should sponsor you! I knew it would do it, I have there smaller winch and it's got enough power to lift my 10lb scx10. Good times! Have a great day
that's awesome, I prefer scale weight over looks, my one weight 11.5 pounds. about 30% steal.
I love your fox hat!
Pretty cool man! I own one that I haven't installed on my rig yet! And for the money spent it better work as advertised! But it's nice to know and see what can actually do! Very cool video! Thanks for posting:-)
Keep up the good vids! You inspired me to buy my own truck!
Best Kind of comment an RC Video producer can get! SUPER COOL! Have fun man :)
I forget the channel offhand, but he shows similar using the heyok 4a winch controller for a 3racing winch... it's what I've used to deadlift a 10 pound rig... only 6 feet tho... lol... knowing you have a more than capable winch is well worth the cost and investment.... the smiles and fun are worth so very much though, thanks for sharing!
here's the vid, I had to show you, lolz ruclips.net/video/GLktU_PJDzU/видео.html
Nice test. I just installed the small version of the winch on my TRX4 Defender (9lbs 6oz fully loaded) and did the same test, just not as high. But even the small one had no trouble lifting my rig.
This Truck needs a soundmod. This electric sound scratches on the badassness of this monster.
Awesome, I have the same winch on my rc4wd timberwolf and I did the same test lol. Great vid!
Amazing how much torque it has for being so compact!
You are willing to spend money to entertain us. You are awesome.
Thank you for noticing :-)
After seeing this video, I’m definitely going to have to get one for my cragsman. Only you would do something like this medic, keep making awesome videos!
Haven't we all wondered in the back of our mind.. if this winch would ACTUALLY make some serious power? Now we know. Its perfect.. Lol :) Thanks for the kind words Ryan.. really nice..
Great video, keep up the great work! That is a awesome RC
Whats UP Aidan! Thanks for stopping by buddy! glad you enjoyed the film
That was impressive bud! Gonna feel secure trailing with the cragsman
DUDE! WHAT A BEAST! You KNOW how heavy this truck is.. and finally.. I got everything I needed to wire it up properly. That Torque is AMAZiNG!
RCSparks Studio yeah I know that truck is pretty heavy the way you have it set up, Imma have to rely on your winch for a bit til I get one.
I really enjoyed that bro~! Good job!
Man medic u always have the best rigs n the coolest stuff for them, appreciate the review on this product,at least we all know that for the money it will preform👍👍👊👊📹📹
That is a Good test. Thinking on gett One for My TRX 4, when i get the truck.
Thats good to know I got one on order for my X MAXX and its going to also be my plow lift for up and down. Cool video always like watching your channel
Awesome I definitely had wondered about that got a smaller different winch it will pick up my 7 lb rig
Another great video!
Nice truck!
I've been trying to decide between this Warn 8274 and the Warn 9.5 CTI,they both seem like they would be a great winch. After seeing this,I may spend the extra money and get this one. Thanks for the video brother!!!!
Hugh, you have been a long time supporter. I am glad was able to add to your RC ADVENTURE today!! :)
I've killed a 9.5 with little effort...save the pennies this is the one to get...haven't had an issue except breaking a 190# fishing line trying to get around a rock up hill....winch had no problem...
I have same winch on my tow truck build.I love it
Hello Larry!
RCSparks Studio Hey Bud!Hope all is well with you and the family!
looks like your back is getting better. i have degenerative disc disease but in my upper back and when it flares up i can hardly move. i also saw that you had subscribed to my channel and i thank you for that.
So to me, this not only fit's Warns recommendations in terms of capability, but also scores big time on scale looks as well. So in other words - *PERFECT*!! :D :D
It looks good on the cragsman👍🏻
I too have this winch, yet have not used it, I also have the rc4wd winch control that i use for my 3racing winch, kinda surprised you aren't controlling the winch with the radio? I wonder if the rc4wd controller provides all the necessary amps to the winch, obviously it works but would a small esc do better? it was an rc day for me too and i didn't break anything,,, yet,,,, glad to see you on your feet.
Reminds me of the movie; The Gods Must be Crazy, the winch scene. Hahaha
That’s crazy awesome!!
I love the crawler I’m a big fan of 1/8 scale I may have to invest in this Jeep I love it
Wow, that is actually pretty cool. That is one of the things that we (my brothers and I) have been thinking about but we were not really sure if they could withhold the punishment of what we may be giving it because two out of the three of us have rather heavy weights in the 10th scale area lol. Good stuff Aaron 🤙🏼
Normal people would question and their wives think they are nuts seeing an rc dangling. Im sure shes use to random tire tracks and that. Especially standing in your pajamas clearing snow with the skid-steer while in the living room drinking coffee. LOL
100% correct. Lol
Awesome man
wow i got to get me 1 of those for my truck
love your videos
Wow, that’s impressive
Thats insane lol. Man who would dislike this?
AWESOME!!! more kragsman videos please XD
That was nuts! I usually get the 35 dollar winch. I use mine for the scale look. I dont think I have any if them hooked up. That's a great looking, powerful, winch. I'm gonna have to get one for my Cragsman.
I have that Cragsman with the same winch and its amazing the torque that winch has. I lifted a full ammo can of 9mm off the ground with it.
Can I ask how old is Wench has held up over the last three years. Thank you so much love your channel. You and your family are awesome people
Great video I'm going to try it now
Great Test 👍🏻
Good vid as always.
Tho , it's not the first winch deadlift video. I did the same with a 480oz K2-FS KMS Winch almost two years ago....it was my first youtube video and it was mediocre at best. haha.
But it picked up a Summit and three Trail Machines at around 40 pounds.
Ya bud...you finally went out and got yourself a decent winch. I'm proud of you. hahaha.
