- Eighteen people were arrested for their alleged involvement with an Orange County bar and restaurant that operated as a drug house, Sheriff John Mina announced during a press conference. Among the allegations, the business -- PR House -- sold cocaine to between 60-80 people each day, officials said.

Operated for 20 years and just now shut down? Either recently quit paying off the cops, or a competitor paid the cops more.

Is this your first time seeing career criminals on the news?
Yup, them FLA pigs sell dope and then have a marked car stop you and then they get the dope back to re-sell and then they got the buyer on some distro charges and that means daily $$ for them now being caught up in the system. Yall watch your backs down there. Them pigs have been doing this kinda shit since FLA got rid of entrapment laws in the 80's.
Mmm suspicious
How many cops were arrested for allowing this to go on for twenty years? That’s the question the media should ask FIRST.
Ikr…..2.5 decades investigation….incompetent, people kept overdosed over years , bar continues open …as if they needed 25 years to take down whole Al Pacino cartel international drug enterprise. Laughable baffling police epic failures .thes criminals already old enough for social security. Should we clap or laugh ¿ broken systems, dea cia fbi abc . Disgraceful work.
WOULD LIKE THAT ANSWERED....20 YEARS....UNBELIEVABLE, AND THEY ALL LINE UP TO TAKE CREDIT......PATHETIC, THEY WANT PATS ON HEADS, PATHETIC
While it's normally best for laws to be enforced to the letter, I'd rather see the cops turn a blind eye when dealers keep everything under the radar, make sure nobody's dying, and minimize all the other crime that goes along with the dealers and addicts involved. We lost the war on drugs a long time ago. The best we can do is manage the affliction. Notice how this place stayed in business for a very long time until people started dying. We all know a new dealer will pop up or an existing dealer will pick up the business, as it always happens. We just hope they keep the crime down.
They were part of it
20 years? There's nothing to be bragging about on your end.
They were paying someone and that person probably retired
@@tvviewer4500 that was my thought as well.
Someone quit paying.
I would be embarrassed of that. Lol. Wow
All of these men were so proud that it took them over TWENTY YEARS to close down this drug house. They should have kept that fact a secret.
I agreed with you on that .
they should be ashamed it took them all this time.
Well..... When that's where they get THEIR coke from - it just isn't that easy....
First - they had to clean their own closets out from any shady dealings at the bar.... THEN they were able to shut it down...
@@-ThePREACHER- - Are you telling me that they had to wait until all of the coke-head cops retired with pensions large enough to continue their addiction? Now, that makes sense to me.
😅😅😅
Thought I was the only one who thought the same thing. Think of all the money spent on all this enforcement agencies.
My question is who allowed this poisoning of the community to go on for 20 years ?
Not a question when the answer is quite obvious
Drug users, at least half of them.
Super Sleuths !
My question is, do you think the community somehow isn't being poisoned now? I guarantee this will dry up the supply of drugs for absolutely no one.
Crazy cuz the drugs come in from overseas but they’re not doing anything to stop that lol
20 years means someone is taking bribes but the place continued to get worse
It was the landlord's failure? Wtf?
Exactly
i would be more shocked if there was one bar in florida that DIDNT sell drugs or was owned by someone who was using the bar for illegal means like money laundering etc
Smh
That's a pretty bold statement. I'm sure there are plenty of franchised bars and private bars that make more than enough profit due to the alcohol license alone. Statistically, there will always be outliers, but that goes both ways. If you're trying to say it's so widespread that EVERYONE is doing, statistically, you will have someone who isn't
Exactly & those so call massage places the Asian ones 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣 running prostitution stings under their nose 😆
That's a pretty stupid statement! I know ALOT of people that own bars and are good people and don't allow that type of activity! I know more good than bad!! So stop profiling bars!! Good people go to bars to you know! There's more commroderi there than at your own house!! Stop profiling!! I've owned bars and NEVER sold drugs!! So stop saying general rasicts statements!! BTW! "it took us 20 years to shut down a drug den" 😆👌 OCSD is a joke!
Nah, they were on the cut..but it got too big so they had to play police too
It was a story for them (Orange County) to show before the year closes since Grady Judd seems to do the most arrests and Detailed stories.
And they are publicly bragging about what a great job they have done and not one bit ashamed that it only took 20 years!!!!?? Whatta joke!!!
Stop right there! Are you saying this criminal activity has been going on for decades? Shame on law enforcement for not taking action against and shutting the doors!!!
Wow!!

Unbelievable isn't it.
Cops staying too busy arresting Jay walkers, photographers, license plate lights out, window tint. Do better deputies, pull your heads out of your asses and look around. Despite what this Director says, this is unacceptable. I would bet the sheriffs department will magically have a shortfall of funds in the next few months. (Due to their partner being shut down).
That's because they want let the black cops do real work! Look around the podium.

Two decades...I guess the police department was waiting on their cut and never got it so they shut it down

LEO: “IRS noted profits never exceeded $50K a year, but customers were lined up around the block, every day. We initially thought it was tax evasion.”

LEO: “Um, that would fit.”
I’m sure they were very disappointed that they didn’t get to collect more taxes!

The landlord had to have known. You don't rent out a property and do maintenance for years on end without knowing what occurs.
Well money talks, sometimes it says: “ Keep your mouth shut” 🤷🏻♂️
You pay on time, never any issues with the law or damage, and if there are minor damages chances are the owner has a maintenance man on salary or a rental company that over sees there properties day to day…. 🤷♂️
It's very common for landlords to stay out of the hair if the rent is being paid and everything is kosher enough. There are even laws preventing landlords from coming inside to inspect uninvited without advanced warning.
@@Sam-oo6wyThanks for exposing yourself, landlord.

With the amount of time it took to take this place down it sounds more like a failure than a success. How many lives were ruined or ended because they let this go on for 20 years trying to build a bigger case than what they had at the time.

Been getting a ton of tips since 2007 and it is now getting shut down in 2023. I understand it takes time for them to put together a case to get the owner in these types of things, but they stated it’s only been in process the past few years. I had a bar in Jerseyville, IL for 22 years and the local police tried something like this on me too.
Except, they could not get a warrant to search so they set up a bomb threat.
They had a CI to call the bomb threat in to me, I reported it to the police, and the police walk right in...
with a drug dog.
They did not clear the houses near the building, including the one next door that is 2 feet away.
They illegally detained and corralled everyone in the middle of a dark travelled street, no coats, and it was freezing.
They found no drugs, no bombs, no weapons, not even residue of any kind, and no FBI.
There were no arrests.
Why was nothing found?
Because I would not allow anything to be brought in and anyone caught doing it was barred for life+1day the first time.
I had over 100 people on my Barred List.
Jerseyville, IL is a Drug Cartel, including the police chief, Fire Chief, city council, DA, and judge, and I refused to sell their drugs.
There are at least 9 other bars in that town that would never pass that type of inspection.
Not too long after that, they set up a blacked-out police car from Missouri at night to kill us.
