Tekken 2 shows King being a drunk literally in the dumps and Armor King throws the mask to get him back in the game. And yes, the first King is dead and this one is a kid that grew up in his orphanage and most likley wearing the OG's mask. So yeah, it is NOT an animal man. 1:23:22 I'm pretty sure this is also just a Bruce Lee suit. I can't quite tell what it was, maybe him just hanging out in Hollywood or something, but I have seen this as a reference to Bruce before. 1:23:58 Don't mind me, just taking unrelated notes... 2:17:51 Well, his ending is him saying he's got a lady waiting. For all we know it could be a canary at home. 2:25:08 It sounds silly, but that actually makes him the most ninja character in Tekken. Just cause he always looks different no one can get a clear beat on him, let alone what his actual face is. And this fingerless glove is the skin he's shown since T2 and it's a good contrast with his cybernetic arm.

I like how Matt reviews with gusto like his wife. He really did a learn a lot from her. And yet again Crymetina knocks it out of the park. Thank you Queen for reviewing these characters. Bring her back for the future DLC fighters I'd like to see her review the fashion on them.
I think some of the odd color choices like the shoes with a weird color, or hips or shoulders or hands... it's all done for gameplay reasons. So you can easily read what is happening. Just my guess.
i have a gameplay reason for why the gloves are so wierd: its to emphasize movement of the hands. They have to be a brighter color so you follow when someone is punching and can react to it. If it was color coordinated with the costumes there is a chance you would lose sight of the hands during complicated moves. The feet dont have to do that because to kick someone in the face your legs move in a very exaggerated movement that lets you know "hey, im throwing a kick at you" and dont need the bright colors.
Happy to see this coming back! I'm not a fashion person at all, but I love hearing Crymetina deconstruct all these different outfits. Idk if you plan on doing more anytime soon (no pressure of course) but I'm more than happy to watch more if you do!

I used to be a member of a roman catholic Church and IIRC It's actually symbolic in the catholic church for members taking part in advent or lent to NOT wear purple clothing as it is worn by members of the clergy to represent what they are giving up/the sacrifices made during said time or the preparations and repentance for said time.
