If someone asked Kiryu to become a masked wrestler, he'd be like "why do these things keep happening to me", but then he'd take it more seriously than anyone has ever taken anything. Some minor bits are lost just watching the opening and ending, like how everyone Law fights in the mode is someone to which he says his "I hate rich people!" line. Paul has a bunch of lines about running late and needing to hurry since all his matches are pre-tournament.
If it can be believed, somehow Jun was originally set to be in Tekken 3, which would have changed the story considerably. So internally, they kind of retconned a retcon. But taking Jun and Kazuya out for Jin makes too much sense for a new generation game.

I still find it funny how both Shaheen and Rashid have the primary motivation of avenging their unnamed friend.
I haven't heard such authentic laughter from you in so long. Bryan's ending was peak and Law's just feels like the ultimate punchline!
Some minor bits are lost just watching the opening and ending, like how everyone Law fights in the mode is someone to which he says his "I hate rich people!" line. Paul has a bunch of lines about running late and needing to hurry since all his matches are pre-tournament.
Yeah, those are really minor bits, since those are personality quirks that have been around since Tekken 5.
I appreciate this post-babel world where everyone is able to understand multiple languages
Glad to see that the Tekken endings are back.
22:56 man jin and kazuya are literally vergil and nero
1:01:13 that was his thing back in the day before they turned him into revenge man
Alisia is now the Hinata??? ❤❤😂😂😂
If anything can save Kazuya it's his extremely hot wife saying "stop it"
If it can be believed, somehow Jun was originally set to be in Tekken 3, which would have changed the story considerably.
So internally, they kind of retconned a retcon. But taking Jun and Kazuya out for Jin makes too much sense for a new generation game.
i think Hwoarang’s ending and paul’s is just a great one two punch. you even see the convoy that paul and law almost crash into in Hwoarang’s ending and i love it!
58:40 okay look I know it was a goofy joke, but if Panda canonically hooked up with a human despite Kuma having been trying to get with her for FOREVER I'd find that hilarious
The news feed setups reminds me of earth defense force
So... there we have it.😪
Why do I get the feeling Lilli's ending is a massive "My name is Skylar White yo" reference?
I think the bloodlusting spirit of yoshimitsu's sword took over after yoshimitsu was ko'd.
What's funny is that my two mains in this game have the luxury of providing both (in my opinion) the best (Reina) and worst (Asuka) endings.
There is actually a secret ending if you lose to Kazuya in story mode
the fact that Paul ducked that tank makes me think that what happened to Law happened to Paul multiple times before
lawz ebdig is that of starship troopers i love it
24:07 Disappeared into DLC
I like how panda appers to not exist in many vases, but kuma is always there
Matt doing his newsy impression made this
Jane from Jack 8's ending was the little girl from Gun Jacks ending in Tekken 3
Harada hates Law confirmed
They do Law and Paul so DIRTY.
Yoshimitsu wields Soul Edge. A piece of it. That, or he's high. That's why it talks
I like thinking the Kazuya ending was canon to the main Story. Like, he just went back to work the next day after losing to Jin.
Lars, WTF ARE YOU USING FLYING BOATS???? That is WW I and II era seaplane tech! Did you play Kancolle, saw how Taitei-chan extended LBAS range, and fell in love with them? Edit: or Victor plays, since he was a Marine Nationale admiral, and the lady is Richelieu...
Tekken is still giving Asuka the shaft.
The only people who know what happened to Heihachi was Kaz and Akuma. To everyone else he's just missing.
When's Crymetina Critiques on Tekken 8?!
