Man, I’m not going to lie. New player who love pvp (in other mmos) and I’m struggling HARD to not just get wrecked every time I peak around a corner once I hit 50. So excited for these tips.
I've been following your content since I started ESO after Tamriel unlimited came out. Your guides helped me alot as a starter. My favorite youtube video you posted is still the templar healer playing Imperial City Prison! That much excitement I had watching it trying to learn how to heal people like "The Battery" 🤩in said dungeon. You also encouraged me with your gamer to gym rat content to exercise and go to gym. With ESOs nowadays stats it's your love for the game and viewers to still make content for it. It shows your determination and I love that the most about you. Just wanted to say what's in my mind and heart and thank you for all these years Deltia! ♥Keep it up!
Twilight needs to be a toggle. There’s ZERO reason it needs to be on both bars. Take away the damage completely and make it a toggle. Sorc would be better to play.
For healers a good starting setup is aetherial ascension (crafted, all sturdy all heavy) + wild hunt or monster set (i like those that give %heal done) + winters respite or spell power cure or transmutation or gossamer or even 3 jewelry willpower with master restoration and trainee shield and sword backbar
@@StickAndMove18 I have a golded AA set with 5x sturdy lol that’s why I’m saying pariahs is better…..cause i used to run AA and can tell you from experience pariahs is far better for pvp.
One biggest problem I run into is the controller buttons fail to work when I need them the most. Another issue is that other builds I've found from various OTHER websites just don't seem to work. I get destroyed constantly. Very frustrating.
Wow! As much time as I spend reading through skills and everything else you taught me something LOL I thought try Focus passive also had to do with mitigation, that's a really good tip and you don't lose much that you care about as a DPS if you take it off. Zuul set with azure blight and venomous smite is the best you can nukr and defend against gankers tbey gank, set procs they get. Cc you dot they get more dots boom dead. Sorry typing on my phone, my fat neanderthal hands bop every letter when i type lol.
Man the pvp is interesting, storm a keep, smash everyone, smash the doors down, smash even more people, bash the inner door down, face roll the npc guards, capture the keep and then spend the next 20 mins, all 30+ of us, chasing ONE guy up and down a ramp/tower who just will not die, they have like 99 defense lol
Hi deltia, love you videos as always. I'm fairly new and having some trouble understanding the No cp/cp /no proc set type different builds. Could you or someone clarify if procs sets are allowed in BG's and ravenwatch, those are what i would mainly be doing as my CP is too low for blackreach. Thanks

I am what your less generous content creator would call a "PvE shitter" in that I only infrequently have a go in PvP. Almost from day one, I could see what I'm doing wrong in that I'm not moving enough. Do you have any tips to improve this, including how you set up and physically move your fingers over the keyboard. @BrotherGeof in PC/EU
You're not a pve shitter if you're working on getting better at pvp. Pve shitters come over, without changing anything, and then say pvp should be removed from the game. You're just a beginner pvp'er! I always enjoy seeing new people coming into pvp. It keeps it going!

I'm kind of getting an understanding of the terminology, "burst" "mitigation' etc. People talk about those things without thinking because they're used to it, for those of us who aren't, it can sometimes make things seem more complicated than they really are, so when you explain things it's very much appreciated!

I got a question. I'm a stamcro running stuhns, a single trainee and the Markyn ring Mythic. I know alot of people are running rallying. But, could I run that Swift set instead as my defensive set or maybe even Impregnable?
I recommend against running your defensive set on the backbar in this crazy burst meta; should be active always. Run your offensive/support set on your front bar with potentates on the back, and if you want to use a mythic, just break your monster set and use one piece magma incarnate or slimecraw. If a monster set is essential to your kill go's (like balorg), skip the mythic. Aetherial ascension (my go-to) or pariah are awesome alternatives to ironblood if you can't stand the slow and they won't be nerfed next patch.

Like three pieces of spell power cure on the body and the other two on main bar / three pieces of powerful assault on body and the other two on the back bar. Doing so would enable you to run a monster set AND a mythic rather than having to choose between them.
front bar or back makes no difference because it's still something to swap to and you won't be using SnB while healing...you don't want your heals to be not ready, especially when it gets super laggy and bar swap isn't smooth
Very good point on trying to keep healing skills on buttons that you always use them on so it becomes instinctive to hit them. I play on controller on my defensive bar, i always put my burst heals on L1/R1 since i can still keep my fingers on the sticks/move/sprint while healing. I was using burst heals on other buttons but i'd always need to take a finger off the sticks and it wasn't working.
I've been playing the game for 10 years and have never made a build that doesn't pop like a balloon. Block while spiked bone shield , in golded out heavy armour tank sets with 40k health 2500 crit resistance. still dead in under 2 seconds 1v1 pvp. I loose 95% of all PVP fights, because I'm dead in under 1 second most of the time.
i am a day 1 player and i have some pretty amzing builds some of my own design and some of yours and i still die within 30 seconds no matter the build because the issues with the game never get fixed block bug break free bug getting stunned frozen and time stopped every second and i mean every second i can break free when it works and be stunned or frozen again instantly. theres also issues when breaking free or just getting off the ground that can take 3 seconds and in that time you can heal cant block cant do anything and your dead tbh. then skill lag and heal lag and a million other issues that dont get fixed. i love the game but tbh after 7-8 years of this b.s i think its to broke to enjoy and play. crown store never broke though just saying
So im running more or less a joke build with plague break and 4 different dots slotted on my templar. Heals on the back bar. It actually works in BGs and cyrodiil but cant duel to save his life 🤣
Me: "I gotta get Zoal's so I can stop getting ganked all the time in PvP" ZOS: "cool, just do all this PvP first where you get ganked all the time (and lose all your stones)"
Watching your vids I can see why people love PvP. I've watched a lot of your guides (thank you!) - but I still suck in PvP. I never had a pleasant experience and I'd even say I hate it. It makes me smash my table every time. I can't stand it.
i subscribed when u talked about training wheels. All other youtubers focus on offensive sets but i like your different approach to pvp and pvp sets in eso which is something i've never thought about.
many peps won't agree with the 2 defence sets but i tell people same when learning. can't learn if dead. good post will tell people to check it out instead of me having to tell them it all haha

And that is just because he likes to be tanky (due to many stream snipers and others who target him). You can go less if you need other resource sustain but it comes at a cost.

Long time PVPer but learned quite a bit with this video thank you. Why do most guides still recommend Impen? Even your own guides on Deltia still all recommend mostly Impen traits. Looking at your Magdk PVP build guide right now and its got 3 impen traits in there. Going full well fitted besides reinforced just seems crazy because well... habits. Love videos like this so much more than build videos. I use guides as a reference for ideas and general trend of meta but having videos like this helps me theorycraft my own builds and understand why build guides are being done a certain way. On another note, i just came back last month and finally got a couple chars together and some sets as well. Ready for the event. But im also trying to future proof my sets. Looks like NB will be FOTM next meta. Will impen be more needed next patch with Suprise Attack getting buffed too 100% crit?

Laaaaaaag. I love this event, but we haven’t even started yet and PvP for Xbox NA is plagued with laaaaaaag. Can’t get excited about anything in this game anymore.
Get 35k hp(dont worry about dmg), put 5 heals in front and back bar(aoe dot heals that stack up if possible), put ult that does damage. Transfer to alliances that other pvpers play (blue or red) so you get game on easy mode, enter some cringe discord cancerous guild, join discord call and spam heals till they say NOW than drop ults. Do that until you die of cringe. Thats "pro" pvp in eso. Rest of players are just there to feed them ap. Might be bots as well... who knows ask ZOS.

Any way you can make an mag soc build? I feel like there hasn't been a good one for awhile.

All about rallying cry, baby. Gossamer/SPC for cyrodiil though.

Yeah i just dont recomend rallying cause sometimes people arent in a group to make the best use of it, but its great!
AA is a bad set when Pariahs exist. More armor and no drawbacks

Proc sets work in bgs, not sure which work in ravenwatch have not played.

I used to run shit in PVP. Then I got to 160 + and played with real pvpers 😂. Get bodied ever game go like 1-17.

Maul almost always. They're pretty even now, but maul is more consistent across a lot of patches

You upgrade them using crafting materials. It gets quite pricey, especially for jewelry, but the difference in power is smaller than you might think.

Laaaaaaag. I love this event, but we haven’t even started yet and PvP for Xbox NA is plagued with laaaaaaag.
Can’t get excited about anything in this game anymore.
When I played, about 80% of my time was in PVP. With that, MYM was my least favorite event as it pushed the lag/DC problem to all new heights.

Get 35k hp(dont worry about dmg), put 5 heals in front and back bar(aoe dot heals that stack up if possible), put ult that does damage. Transfer to alliances that other pvpers play (blue or red) so you get game on easy mode, enter some cringe discord cancerous guild, join discord call and spam heals till they say NOW than drop ults. Do that until you die of cringe. Thats "pro" pvp in eso. Rest of players are just there to feed them ap. Might be bots as well... who knows ask ZOS.

Cus only thing it did that was kinda strong was slowing people down instantly why nerf that cus like nightblade siphonning skill cripple slows instantly and pretty spam able like 😡😡😡😡🤯🤬🤬🤯
I was already using winter revenge for defense but now it’s definitely only viable for that, and if I wanna try to slow people I have to try harder for what, 500 pints of dmg against a healing tank???????
I already would place it infromt of people but now that’s the only way for even maybe 1 tick of dmg not 2 anymore

The main problem I have with these videos is that you all try to use codes and lingo. New players don't know what these terms mean. Your mates might know. We don't.
