- Hi, there! I'm Sandra with Brew City Thrifts. I find my treasures at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, yard sales, and flea markets in the Milwaukee region and sell them on eBay and Amazon Marketplace. I love thrifting because it combines my interests in arts & crafts, history, and recycling/up-cycling.
Well, surprise, surprise! Daughter Zoe joins me at the Goodwill of Pewaukee for an amazing haul that filled our cart! We picked up items big and small, and cats ended up being the sneaky theme of the day. Some of our finds: 2 studio art pottery signed plates; A Villeroy & Boch Flora wild rose salad plate, a set of 4 Windsor & Browne Ceramica Quadrifoglio Italian dinner plates with a blue grapes design; a vintage L.E. Smith crystal candle holder; a delicate small art glass prancing horse figurine; a vintage ceramic dog figurine from Geobel of West Germany; a vintage Peter Petrie tiny pottery turtle figurine; a Kitty Treats basket with hand-painted cat faces; a Coarmagh shamrock trinket dish from Ireland; a small round stone trinket box with shell inlay from India. And there was more ... a Frankoma basket pattern honey pot (missing the lid); a vintage Gilbert American Flyer Trains Tru-Model #484 caboose in its original box; a vintage amber glass dots & diamonds toothpick holder, a vintage handmade & signed drip-glaze pottery pitcher; a vintage Gordons Ceramics Calif. aqua glaze planter; a World Market peekaboo cat mug; a vintage Willow Tree figurine from Demdaco; a pair of vintage Halloween jack-o-lantern taper candle holders; a studio art drip-glaze pastel colored pottery mug; a small vintage wooden bud vase; a hand thrown signed studio art bud vase with a blue flower spray; a Rowe Pottery holiday mug; a World Market starburst flower stem mug, and a Pfaltzgraff Granny Smith apples cookie jar. And then the super finds: a vintage Haeger hand-painted striped crock/planter; a vintage Haeger USA cream-colored pottery goblet; a Scandinavian Kristian Solmer Vedel abstract adjustable bird sculpture by Architect Made in Denmakr, and a vintage Mary Gates Dewey pottery cat ca. 1981.

Awesome!
Thanks, Aunt Kelley!
Don’t know how I missed this video but glad it popped up. This was hands down your best haul ever. Omg I so happy for you everything you bought was so lovely. Your daughter is beautiful and what luck she brought you. Great video.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes, it was such a great haul! I've got the cat sitting in my kitchen for now -- I'll probably list it after a while. And yes, my daughter is good luck for sure!
What a fun video with your beautiful daughter! I think the one pottery mug was made by the same person who made those pottery plates. Both look to be marked with a MAT signature. Great finds!
Thank you for the kind words. You are right -- our artist is MAT. I have tried checking to see if I can find him locally but no luck yet.
Wow I have never seen so many treasurers in your cart! You really hit it big!! I think Zoe will have to be a regular with you! I still have not come across any Rowe pottery!
Thanks for commenting, and I agree, she was my good luck charm! I am lucky to live in Rowe Pottery country, so I'm bound to find some around here. I've been finding more contemporary pieces that are not salt-glazed recently. I really loved the "Home for the Holidays" mug!
The hook is for hanging your purse on a table
Thank you for sharing that! Yes, Zoe actually knew what it was too. I like the idea of it.
Your daughter is beautiful.
Thank you, I have to agree -- inside and out!
