What matters the most is what you can do, create a LinkedIn or Upwork account if you don't have one, go there and show your skill/skills. The amount you earn now will never determine where you will be tomorrow. I hope this helps.

The validity starts counting after you got your visa, I don't know your country, but some countries can enter Mexico without a visa and stay for 180 days or lesser. So you need to check. But if you're given six months tourist visa, you have six months, unless you enter Mexico and they change it to 30 days at the airport. I hope I answered your question!😊

Yes you’ll still need an appointment because you can’t process your visa online, I think Abuja is much better even though people are complaining.

From what I understand, your purpose is to visit, you will be coming as a visitor to spend some time in Mexico and with your gf.
