The mother of my 22 months old daughter by the name of Ms Kekeletso Nakeli (a columnist at The Citizen Newspaper) has also not only kept me away from my child since May 2024, but also alienated me from the child.
Mind you, I supported the child since birth until May this year after I lost my job in January. I was barred from seeing the child even on Father's day (despite asking two weeks in advance to see the child for that day) and subsequent visitations. Likewise when I asked that the child spend December 2025 holidays with me I was denied.
Before anyone asks “Why don't take her to court?” Simple, with what means and resources when I have zero? And also, why should a loving father “fight” for a right to their child in the first place? Especially considering the mother was unemployed for the majority of 2023 and I supported her too. Also, the same woman who had an extra marital affair with a married man from 2020 to 2021 and continued to be in communication with the man during the pregnancy of our daughter, which ultimately led to the breakdown of my relationship with her.

It's good progress. If this was manipulative tactic by the mother, serves her right. On the other hand some parents both men and women are not good for the child. It's better if they don't see the other parent at all or supervised visits. Some are depressed and are prone to kill their kids. Some use them for rituals. Some hated the kid from conception so they can harm the child through rape etc. The court should also look at such in future.

Inspite of that he was welcome to take my 2 sons excess whenever he wanted to see his children and pay their father visits. My children are close to his family. It is not about us the couple, it is about the children. Wake up ladies, leave these dirty manners and allow children to have a relationship with both parents. Children did not ask to come into this world. Grow up and become matured women. Without him, that child would not be there.

Wow this woman is too greedy. I mean 15k and no visits? Children deserve to spend with their father's weather he has money or not. A child needs their father's presents. I can't believe the pain you put someone through by doing that. And at the end the child will found out the truth and will resent the mom. But Karma came fast this time. Other greedy heartless "moms" must learn from this. Thank you for Justice.

@@Chomza15 i do not even know what to say bruh, i have heard this story many times. The government needs to do something about this seriously.. Women get all the privileges and yet they claim they are oppressed just because a few weak men have anger issues. we live in a society that has normalized a family without a father figure.

It is very easy for some of us to judge the mother without knowing the circumstances that led to her denying the father access. Things are happenings behind the scenes. All I want to warn you as fellow SA is that South African justice system is for sale. It depends who has the money. Take your time read that case for your yourself I'm going to do that before I can judge a poor. The fact that the father had to pay R15k is because the child's needs had to be met. It is not easy to raise a child there are many factors that determines the amount to be paid. The money is not for the mother it is for the child.
