I've always wanted a coffee grinder like that.... Those froes though! Nice Lufkin measure. You have a model number? I have a catalog here. That T Brace, or whatever... is really nice!
I would love to be able to pick up one of those coffee grinders, but they’re usually a little pricey. The T-Bar thing is Super Cool! I believe the Tack Puller might be from a C.F. Mfg Co. out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Just guessing but maybe it's easier to manufacture a strong thin tempered piece separately and rivet it on, who knows maybe they even sold replacements if the end broke.
Those are some good observations. What you say makes sense about that nail puller. They could make the V shape out of springsteel and then attach it to a piece of cast. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great week.

My book is a 1920. The ones in my book are similar but made just a little bit different! Surveyors chain tape! Nubian finish, etched graduations
One is graduated on babbitt metal
