Your block paving needs weeding😂 Good tip regarding keeping your bike away from prying eyes especially on a Sunday afternoon in summer when thieves are known to drive round estates looking to see where bikes are being cleaned. I clean mine using touchless cleaning as much as possible. My 1st stage is a spray with ph neutral TFR from a pump up garden sprayer which is a lot cheaper than using snowfoam and having to buy the lance plus you don't have to clean it off the drive after. I then jetwash that off after 5-10 mins with an Auto nozzle on my jetwash. Next I use the 2 bucket method with a MF mit and suitable soft brushes, then another rinse. I then use my pet dryer (but without the heating element on) to dry the bike. Lastly I apply a good quality detailing spray to the paint and plastics inc the screen then wipe off with a MF cloth. This last bit is key as that makes getting the flies and crap off much easier next time I clean the bike during stage 1. I don't have a chain either which also helps!
Nice one mate. The things we do for the love of a motorcycle. My wife thinks I should take as much detail when I’m cleaning the bathrooms and showers lol. Nice to hear from you again I’m just now waiting for the keyboard warriors to attack lol. Ride safe mate
I know, I often spend too long cleaning mine (according to SWMBO) You've just got to find a method that you like, usually refined after making c*ck ups! I learnt the hard way not to clean mine while the engine was still warm, the resulting waterspots are a sod to get rid of, especially on a black engine😂 shame you can't seem to solve the snatchy throttle, just hope it doesn't completely spoil things for you. Trouble is once you have something like that it's hard not to ignore it and sometimes it's easy to blow it up out of proportion. Good luck 👍
@@Bazza47 i may have got an answer on the throttle,CF Contacted me today they are gonna look into it.If they dont ive found a specialist guy who can work magic on the ECU Got a Dyno and softeware to do all sorts
It is a shame CFMoto left us high and dry with the snatchy throttle problem. Especially since they addressed it in other countries but won't fix it in the UK or US. I love mine, but may eventually give it up because of the poor fueling. If I do, I will never buy another CFMoto as they don't value their customers enough to fix a known problem!
@@deathwish24620 very true mate. I’m hoping having been in contact with China and now UK headquarters are dealing with my complaint see what transpires. In reserve I’ve found a tech wizard with a Dyno who may be able to sort it if everything else fails
Some of those parts washing brushes from the auto store are complete rubbish. If you get one that falls apart don’t throw it, take it back to the store and complain.
Excellent
