Great review. ONly suggestion I have for you all is to go rent a reference mic. download a free reference mic app for the computer so you can make your mixing room flat. Use a mixer to adjust the frequency of your studio monitors so what you hear through them is as true as what you hear through headphones. So, in other words. use a reference mic set up in the middle of your room. Run that audio through a program that shows you frequency of the room to make sure it is as close to flat as possible. then run your signal through a rack mixer then through your reference monitor and there you have it. Your mixing room is as close to a flat response as possible so your mixes will come out superb. Great video non the less.
That treatment made a huge difference in the booth.
Putting all the foam in the world into this room wouldn't stop his voice from cracking

Wow that is soo cool!!!!!!
Really good video!!
Awesome Video
so my problem is I soundproof foam the ceiling and walls, and replaced the door with a solid door, and still get noise from the rest of the house. Can only film when the entire house is quiet. Do you have the same issue, or did you find a solution to kill audio from the rest of the house.
It’s just the two of them so it’s probably pretty quiet
Sound proofing and sound treating are 2 very different things. The foam we used in this video are specifically for sound treating, meaning it's made to improve how the room sounds for recording and/or listening to audio. This foam used in this video might help with sound proofing to a certain extent, but that's not what it's intended for.
Crazy Nate Study treating and proofing, what you're thinking is proofing and that's way more expensive. You'd need to add layers into the wall construction with insulation, dedicated panels for interior sound blocking and then more walls...well over 5 thousand dollars worth if you're serious about it, bigger the room, more cost.
@Laura Brown Are you trying to promote your products?
Sound treatment and sound proofing are two very different things
I like the mics
🔥🔥🔥🔥
does it come in other colors

I love this review im Subbing ;)
Did you if you have different foam attached to the wall it changes the bass by the way
nice table
Hey how much of your walls did you cover up? Like 70%? 10:30
really cool
THIS VÍDEO IS SO COOL
I personally think that snare is tuned a little too low. I mean obviously it all comes down to personal preference, but I feel like it could use a little more "crack". Other than that, that drum kit sounds amazing!
Thanks! Yeah it could definitely be tuned up a bit but unfortunately the snare is old and has been stored in multiple garages for years so the lugs are rusted and don't allow me to turn past a certain point. I've been wanting to buy a new one but it's not really needed at the moment.
VleraBrite (TeraBrite Vlogs) woah hey, I just came across this video again and had no idea you replied lol. But if you’re still considering a new snare, I’d recommend the Ludwig Supraphonic. It’s been used on pretty much every hit rock record ever, and as Glen Fricker said, it’s the “holy grail of snare drums.” If you’re looking for something a little more budget friendly, then I’d recommend the Ludwig Supralite. It’s basically the same thing as the Supraphonic, just a lot cheaper, and it has tube lugs instead of imperial lugs. Hope this helps, keep making awesome videos.
I love DIY
*Insert pun* *Insert laughs* *Insert cringe* *Insert smile* :) Love ya Sabrina
good video!
sooo cool
Honestly her vocals sounded nicer in the untreated room but maybe that's because I prefer adding reverb to vocals.
You can always add reverb, when recording though u don't want echo
@@bluelambo5 It's a good general rule to want dry vocals for recording but if it sounds good then the rules don't matter.
Really fun vid :P
i love ur vids

Sorry but it makes no Sense because the Vocal Room is now to much dead. It's not neccessary to take so many foam parts in this little Room🤨🤔

Not a very honest review. They sent you free stuff and you made a promotional video.
What isn't honest about it? We needed foam, did research, reached out to them specifically, and they hooked us up. The installation was easy and the results were great as expected! If you don't trust our honest enthusiasm, we provided everything you need to form your own opinions by providing before and after treatment audio clips in the areas we treated. Not sure what you expect.. do you want us to make up bad things to say about something we had no issues with to make the review seem more transparent? Lol
VleraBrite (TeraBrite Vlogs) I appreciate that you're asking. A review normally consists of showing the pros and cons and comparing the product against other brands. If you called the video "how to install acoustic treatment", it would be great. But you called it a review and then opened the video with "Auralex makes the best stuff..." It comes across as disingenuous and hurts your credibility.
@@halloweekendusa5076 that might make sense had the title just said "review" but the title says exactly what it is.. (unboxing, installation, review, and tests). That said this definitely falls under the classification of a review so I totally could've gotten away with just calling it that. There's nothing anywhere that suggests a review is required to be a certain format.. in fact what you're suggesting actually sounds more like a comparison than a review. To me when I look for a review in audio products I look for tests so I can get an idea of what it sounds like and that's exactly what we did. Regardless, that's all subjective. I know you're trying to grasp at the possibility that we were somehow lead to only say positive things about the foam just because we got it for free but that's not the case at all.
Btw I opened it with "Auralex makes the best stuff" because of as I said earlier.. we did our research and picked the best company out there for our needs. We were going into this knowing this is the product we needed for this project and becuse of that I knew with confidence from the beginning I wouldn't need to fake my appreciation for the product.
Okay guys... who cares... I get both. But to be fair, it is a review. They tried the installation: it was easy. They tell you what you get and what they thing. Nothing wrong with it
☺☺☺☺☺
