Don't apologize for this song, Mike. It's a great song and if someone doesn't want to listen or learn it, they don;t have to. I've learned a lot from your videos and I appreciate them.

The hardest part of this song is playing the amazing sound effects that Steve creates in the intro over the synth. The effects he makes are amazing

Man this song was awesome back in the day and still is. What happened to feel good party rock? That’s why people are discovering a lot of 80’s roam and digging it. Music today has lost that element. Would love to get the entire lesson sometime. The solo blew minds.

Morning Mike. This little teaser has inspired me to learn the whole song and nothing but. This song in some parts particularly the solo is light years beyond my skill set but I will learn this song, the whole song. You have really inspired me to up my skill set. This may take a year or some to learn but it took me 6 months of practice to learn Stairway. I am up for the challenge. Thanks again. You're awesome. CANADA

There is a couple of new licks that I can certainly transpose to other keys and use them. You have saved my sanity during these stressful times. You rock! Turning it up to #11! lol CANADA LOVES YOU!!

Awesome! Thanks Mike. Can't wait to get home and try it. I have been a drummer my whole life and was inspired by riffs from the Darkness to pick up a guitar. That, and I played in so many bands over the years and was never given credit for song writing. Time to learn to put some chords together. I need some simple things to train my fingers. This will help.

Please give us that beginning intro that is unparalleled and stands alone on the awesome chart. People don't realize how awesome George Lynch is with that two-hand tapping technique

Cool if it is tuned down to E Flat I can easily play along with my E flat tuba (my other instrument).. :)..............seriously though I love this song so-o-o much especially when the chorus comes in.....I remember going out and getting the album (vinyl)... very exciting..... ya it annoys me when people say old music or TV shows or whatever from the 80's/70's are cheesy............ anyways this is cool now I can start working on the song. Thanks

@@rockingguitarlessons Thanks man the 80s retro music is just as hard to play or learn as music from Judas Priest, Van Halen, Scorpions. When Diary of a Madman came out in 81 I was 12 years old and man it messed me for life. Oh man Randy Rhoads played here in Amarillo, Tx 02-28-1982 two and a half weeks later I heard the tragic news of Randy Rhoads losing his life in a plane crash. I grabbed my Encore beginners guitar sat in the corner and cried while the radio station just played songs from Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman. Keep up the good work! \,,/, thank you too!
