Sailing From Portimão to The Guadiana River, to Mazagón | Series 2 Episode 31 | Ep 98

We finally leave Portimao and sail along hugging the coast to avoid the Orcas. We anchor for the night in Faro but the weather being good we sailed on the next day to the Guadiana the border of Portugal and Spain. We pop into Spain to get some supplies sand the next day sailed to Mazagon. We were trapped here for a week, the place was nice enough just a little deserted so we entertained ourselves with projects and Hugh fixed the water tanks.
We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have t he guts to cast off. Follow our adventures.

This is not boring. Boat maintenance is very ASMR for some of us and interesting. Some of us like a fox and rebuild 😀👍🏼🎉

@@fivegosailing I meant a FIX and rebuild not a 🦊 fox …. But a rebuild with a 🦊 fox would be cool especially at sea. Sea Fox sounds like a marvel vessel …. I digress. Keep up the good work (as in the hours you knowdoubt spend positioning cameras and editing - it’s looking great …. You are definitely the voice over kings and queens 👍🏼) …. So is Dom on Cadoha. Hope they are ok .

As you were sailing north up the Guadiana River, you needed to be on the EAST side (starboard side) of the river. You should have been in Spanish waters, therefore Spanish courtesy flag..
