- In 2005 David played the comical part of the porter in Macbeth.
It's just audio because it was preformed for the audio CD for the Arkangel Shakespeare CD.

I listened to this in english class and my mind exploded. And even worse nobody know what doctor who is! I live in canada woop
We're listening to Macbeth in my English class and when we got to this part, I thought, "This guy sounds a lot like David Tennant- but it can't be." But the more he kept talking, the more convinced I was that it was David, so eventually I asked my teacher for the audiobook case so I could check the voice actor- and lo and behold.
I was so happy.
I was in English class and my brain immediately recognized his voice and I was like "nah... It couldn't be..."
I just listened to this in English class and knowing this was David Tennant made this scene so much better.
Everyone had the same experience as me by listenjng to this in English class and swearing to yourself for 2 minutes that itd david tennant. I looked it up because i was curious and im so happy i was right
David would be the most drunk person in the room at that time... -.-
Probably the most fun, too. Have to have him on the party list... XD

I’m in English rn and I thought “that sounds like David Tennant” so I looked it up and WHADDAYA KNOW-
I was in English and I just jumped up and my English the teacher winked at me and that's when I found out that she's a huge DW fan like me
OMG, once i was in my English class and my teacher had a TARDIS mug. And i was like OMG
i was the only one in my english class who knew who david tennant was and that he was the doctor i giggled so much when we listened to this in class. Hes probably the only reason i passed my test ^-^
When this came on in my English class, the grunting at the very beginning, I was holding in laughter bc it would’ve been so loud, I went red and was crying laughing, it was so random it made me laugh like heck

Remember, Shakespeare was such an universal genius that even psychic paper didn't affect him.
Just like a lot of people in the comments, I heard this in English class. I needed to double check to see if it was David, and I'm soooo happy it is!!
Me and my schools drama club did MacBeth and I was the porter 😁 I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT HE FREAKIN PLAYED THIS ROLE ☹️ But now I can blast that I played the same role as my favourite actor of all time. (as well our knocking was inspired by the beat in the 13th doctors theme)

The same thing happened to me two days ago. After a few lines I knew it was Tennant and nearly fell out of my chair in the middle of class.
This is the parallel universe where instead of being The Doctor he was The Porter

heard in english class and was like “oh my god is that?? no- IT HAS TO BE??” so i spent the rest of the scene trying to find the cast before BOOM DAVID TENNANT
He's brilliant in Twelfth Night as well... and Hamlet... and Richard II...
I wish we'd done this in English class or listened to him in Romeo & Juliet... but alas, it was too early... and I'm not lucky at university either - we'll be doing Othello next term, and probably not spend much time on it either... just love him...
Heard this in English class the other week and instantly recognised David Tennants voice because I’m a bit g fan of the tenth Doctor

LOL yes, he makes such an amazing porter, I watched the Digital Theater Macbeth and it was a real let down and when I found out david played him I HAD to find it xD
