- Here are a couple of recent recordings that I did of both a death metal and thrash song. These arrangements are never set in stone because they can always change, but it gives me something to use as a template to listen back to while I continue writing. I threw in a couple of other recordings that I did at the end of last year, including the Zelda 2 Palace Theme which I love!!! That game made me throw my controller many times throughout my childhood, but I love it to pieces! Hope you guys like the riffs!
That tapping part in the beginning reminds me of good ol cannibal corpse around the gallery of suicide era.

That downpicking though. We all gotta have our Hetfield chops up to spec. The tapping part is pretty sick reminds me of my favorite Cannibal Corpse track Perverse Suffering. But your left hand fretting is actually more complex than the tapping line in that.
When Kevin plays his guitars, amazing things happen. I loved the variety of styles in this one.

Nah man, Kevin is always shredding sick shit. Just plays good metal and has skills.
It’s not sped up watch his past videos too, Kevin is just fuckin killer at what he does. It probably looks sped up because of his aggressive playing style, which is opposed to working with the instrument and instead as he says “making it his bitch”.
@@gremlinpp938it’s jerky though - exactly how a video is when sped up. It’s definitely not hand speed causing that.

Gain cranked to 2 or 3 o'clock, bass all the way down, mid and treble all the way up. Of course you can find your own tone that you like and play black metal that way.
