Especially given Cyclops dedication to revitalizing the “Heroic” aspect of mutants. It’d make for some great tension in a book I suppose but the issue is still giving him a solid BELIEVABLE reason to be there.

Eternals lore is thoroughly established. Thanos is not a "Mutant". He has the deviant gene or throw back traits that are still found in some Eternals. This is also the case for Deathbird of the Shi'ar and sister to the late and former Empress of the Shi'ar Empire Lilandra Nermani. Deathbird differs from Lilandra and the rest of her race as she was born with wings on her arms. This is a genetic trait of ancient Shi'ar.
Great video! Love the whole Mutant theory! Is it possible that Zuras may have tampered with the machine in an attempt to rewrite the Titan Eternals out of their own history/lore? I don't think alien mutants count unless they have some special relationship with the X-men . Kinda like Cable from the Phalanx i think he is called from the New Mutants. Otherwise galactic spacefarers don't really take note of such things as with a galactic variety among the stars of sentients mutants would just blend in. Originally, Thanos was born with a superhuman physique due to being an Eternal with Deviant syndrome. Over time, he enhanced himself with advanced technology and some mystical training to be the powerhouse he is today.
Granted, Thanos isn’t really a god, some sources classify him as a demigod, but he has power to rival some deities. Like when he fought Odin, Thor on multiple occasions, and others.
I'm confused..."Eternals don't breed more Eternals"... what? . I thought there were at least a few generations of Eternals. Xavier had a whole team of Mutant Skrulls. Cadre K I believe they were called. Longshot was considered a Mutant for a while there. Longshots son Shatterstar is a Mutant. Lockheed is considered a Mutant of his race because he didn't inherite the blood lusting need to kill his father Magnus. This behavior is normal for his race and he was an outcast because of this fact. This made him a Mutant.

Thanos is the ultimate expression of human "ugliness" so yes he is an collective of all 3 offshoots of humanity (Eternal, Deviant and mutant) but doesn't belong wholly to any one of them. He's a cosmic, magical mutant cyborg devaint eternal human from outer space. He's the human urge to kill and destroy. Hence the name, hence the godlike status. Skrulls as we see them are actually the Deviant strain of the Skrull race. They wiped out the Eternal, mutant and baseline Skrull race (although Xavier did find Skrull mutants at one point). That's the connection with the chin. Where is Sabretooth again? Yeah so I doubt Thanos is welcome on Krakoa. Not even possible future Galactic Krakoa. He already killed half of all mutants before. Sabretooth cant touch those numbers.
It's wouldn't be the first time the X-Men got involved with alien mutants - Warlock, Broo, the Skrull (which lead to Ages of Apocalypse). But I doubt Krakoa would allow him in via the gates due to not having the X-gene - would need an invite. Is Thanos a persecuted minority needing asylum like Warlock/Broo and deserving of an invite? Maybe, but his genocidal tendencies would be at odds with the three rules.
