I bought something quite big from LV and when I received it there wasn’t even a gift bag in it at all and I was surprised since I ordered a bag. I was really disappointed. You’d think with a purchase like that you get the full experience. I think sometimes it doesn’t even matter it’s who has packed it perhaps. Xxx
Wow yes definitely you would think so! I feel like it’s part of what you pay for, the experience of unboxing it! Maybe it does depend who packaged it 🤔
What a let down on the packaging- compared to Dior and Givenchy. I have purchased fro Hermes a few times, including a couple of scarves, a tray and a 'pop up' book. Never have I received any samples from Hermes. For the tray and scarves, there's always been a delivery note in an embossed envelope, an 'iconic' orange box with the printed brown ribbon, as well as plain tissue paper inside. For the book, it was literally a book in cellophane... I didn't even get the orange paper bag that you received! Love the outer boxes though!
Also, If you require a gift bag for gifting, I tried writing in the 'delivery note,' asking for a bag, and 2 out of 3 times this actually worked!
It wasn’t the best was it 😬 especially compared to those other brands! Oh I was lucky with the orange packaging then haha! Thank you that’s a great tip I will try that! 🙏
Hi Rosie. I love these videos you do and think I’ve seen all the unboxing ones and think the Dior one was my favourite as such beautiful packaging and I think you got a couple of freebies too. That packaging was really poor I thought and would have thought that they could have put a gift card/bag or something in that would put me off ordering from them. Please keep doing these videos I love them. Are you going to be doing any auction videos again I really love them too? Have a lovely day🥰💕

I bought the Avalon wash cloth from Hermes, I received it today. Mine came in a similar box but also came with the orange box and brown ribbon.
I also bought the spirit of travel book from LV and I have to say the packaging is so much nicer than Hermes. It came in a nice box with ribbon as well. How disappointing for you to receive it like this

That was very poor packaging for a luxury brand. I would have at least expected a compliment slip/delivery note.
Yes it was definitely the most basic unboxing I have done I think! And from one of most fanciest brands so that’s interesting! 🤔

Some people just love to complain about anything, I think we all know what brand you are refering to when talking about them, dont give it another thought .

I agree that is very poor packaging and form from what many consider the panicle of the high end luxury and don't worry about the pronunciation of the name, we know what you mean.
