    Hi Sania,
my name is Siddhesh and I needed your advice for a small doubt.
I am the co-founder of a cleantech company and I wanted to know whether I could apply to a P-2 level if I had more than 4 years of experience while I was in college. Asking this doubt because sometimes organizations count work done while a student is still in college as a part-time job, but in my case, I was running my own company so if you see my hours of work and efforts are more like full-time experience. hence can you please can you guide me on what should do in such a situation.

If you have completed a master's degree in chemistry and are interested in pursuing an internship at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), there are still various internship opportunities available that may align with your educational background. With a master's degree in chemistry, you may have a more specialized knowledge base that can be beneficial for certain internship roles within the IAEA. Here are some potential internship options for individuals with a master's degree in chemistry at the IAEA:
      1. **Nuclear Applications Internship**: You could explore internships in the area of nuclear applications, which may involve research and development projects related to the peaceful use of nuclear technology in fields such as healthcare, agriculture, industry, or environmental protection. Your expertise in chemistry could be valuable for projects involving radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, or radiation technology applications.
      2. **Safeguards and Verification Internship**: Internships focusing on nuclear safeguards and verification could also be of interest, where you might contribute to activities related to the verification of nuclear non-proliferation agreements, safeguards implementation, or analytical techniques for nuclear material characterization. Your background in chemistry could be beneficial for projects involving nuclear material analysis and verification methods.
      3. **Radiation Safety and Security Internship**: Internships in the area of radiation safety and security may involve working on projects related to radiation protection, emergency response preparedness, or the safe handling and management of radioactive materials. Your expertise in chemistry could be applied to ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols.
It's essential to regularly review the IAEA's official website for internship opportunities and specific eligibility criteria for applicants with a master's degree in chemistry. Additionally, consider reaching out to the relevant departments or contact persons at the IAEA to inquire about internship opportunities that align with your academic background and career goals in the field of chemistry.

My name is Siddhesh. In this video, we notice that when we apply, we must provide references and their official email address, therefore I was wondering if the IAEA contacts them or asks questions about us via email. Thank you very much.
