I will say though from what I’ve seen from other Puerto Rican’s I’ve met, statistically there’s probably a 1/10 chance any 2 Puerto Ricans with no other heritage can have a common relative. Something like Individual 1’s Cousin by said cousin’s father is connected to individual 2 because that same cousin’s mother makes that cousin individual 2’s cousin. Or sometimes a cousin has a cousin that is the other guys cousin but with no actual blood relation between the 2 individuals themselves.
I mean Puerto rico is actually small i drove from the capital to the town my family lives in across the island in 2 hours. And familys are huge so you could be related to someone and never even know 😂
