    Those guys earn every penny. The working conditions are anywhere from challenging to terrible. How many injuries a year does this plant result in? I respect the heck out of these guys, I hope they are paid well.
    If you happen to know, how would you characterize their pay?

      Anywhere between 10 to 20 dollars a day if they are lucky I guess.

      @@imac786 i don't mean to do condescending but the machines would last longer with less wear and be a more accurate implement i don't understand why people earth the lathe when welding and not the job earth the tailstock as close to the job as possible sorry mate if I offended you just trying to help shorley a bit of lube would save you money and time

      Да, обнять и плакать. В восьмидесятые были такие гдрэвские резиновые солдатики папуасы. Так мы делали слепки и отливки из свинца. Тот папуас что играл на тамтаме, очень удобно лежал в руке, хорошая свинчатка, где то на антресоли в гараже сейчас ..

      It’s called green sand, it’s a mixture of sand and clay and just enough moisture to make it workable.

      If you understood a little of economics you would realize that the manufacture that because is what has demand. I don't imagine using a German water pump, to leave in a middle of a field in Pakistan, costing 30 times more just to do a simple job and not wanting to kill yourself if someone steals it.
