The Story of Kullervo | Tolkien Book Review

I really enjoyed reading Tolkien's The Story of Kullervo, which was one of earlier writings. Even though he never finished, it is fun to read, as he wrote it in a style that is slightly different than what I am familiar with. His essays and the notes and commentary also do a great job of fleshing out how he was inspired by the Kalevala and interested in the character of Kullervo. If you're a fan of Tolkien and his work, I highly recommend you checking out this book that was edited by Verlyn Flieger.
