The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry - John Mark Comer Book Review

I really enjoyed this book and I believe the topic is extremely relevant for our culture and the time we live in. We can easily give into hurry, distraction, and anxiety and it is crucial to not let those things rule our lives. Jesus gives us peace in the midst of chaos and John Mark Comer does a great job of pointing to His teachings and practical ways to eliminate hurry.

I have just recently …discovered, for the lack of a better term, John Mark Comer. His content is so good! I’ve not read this book but it sounds like in a lot of ways a precursor to his Practicing the Way series. He dives into each of the 9 practices (prayer, sabbath, etc) that Jesus taught us and we can learn as apprentices under Him. It’s worth checking out if you haven’t! We have gone through the prayer study in our disciple group.
