I know they weren't intend to, but are those safe to use in a blackboard? Regular chalks are too big and you can only write few text before filling the whole board.
I used this and it did not wash off. Even after washing the garment, I went over it again with soap and a toothbrush and nothing. The marks are still there. Very disappointing, I made myself a tailored vest, my first time doing this and unfortunately we see the blue, pink and orange lines.
Sorry to hear about this. It is simply chalk and should come off with a rag soaked in water. As with any fabric marking pencil it is wise to test on scrap before using.
They should. Always test them on the fabric you are using to see how well they can be removed, before using on your fabric project. The lighter colors are typically easier to remove than the darker colors.
@@SailriteDIY What If you're marking tracing lines for sewing and you don't want a thick line if the tip is not sharp you will get a pretty thick line.
Thanks for the video to remind me how to adjust the chalk and to replace it. Never can remember.
What kind of a ruler is that used to make circles

@@SailriteDIY Thank's for the answer!
Lol... had a little trouble getting it off that green. The line was still there!
I had the same problem on a Hawaiian quilt, lots of background stitches. I tried water, pencil eraser, gum eraser, no luck.

I find these hard to sharpen
I never sharpen mine. I don't find that it is required when marking fabrics.

@@barbra429 To keep it sharp rotate the pencil as you use it this will tend to keep the tip sharpe. After all it is just chalk.
@@SailriteDIY Thanks for the tip
if the chalk and pen isn't sold separately, it doesn't make sense, cause at the end I would have a lot of pens
It does come with a lot of chalk. But you are correct when they are all gone you have to buy another chalk pencil.
