2 years ago i went to my first festival. I heard this song but couldn't find it anywhere, today is the day i finally found it. Some people know this feeling of ecstasy to find something you're looking for after a long period.
I met Andres in London when he came over as Slum Village's DJ - I was doing the radio PR for Slum and was talking to him at BBC Radio 1 whilst T3 and Bataan where in a mic booth and we starting talking about Detroit house music and Carl Craig etc and he said he made house music so I asked him what his name was and he said 'Andres' - I literally fell over 🤣😳🤣😳
I first discovered this song about 5 years ago. It reminded me of my father instantly when I heard it and I just started balling my eyes out cuz he’s passed. My dad made music and he was big on riveting baselines, so this song def clicked for me. This song gives me a supremely nostalgic feeling, and also a sad feeling and a feeling of inspiration at the same time. Def one of my favorite songs of all time.
Nice story. You should follow and continue in your father's footsteps. It would make him proud. As a father myself, I know I would be proud for my kids, or grandkids, to continue where I left off.
You probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all the new series on Instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend recently =)
Last time i heard this track playing was some few days ago in Vienna. Andrés live. This is one of the tracks where you just stand there in the middle of the crowd watching them all having fun raving and you kind of understand suddenly that music is far beyond than physical assimilation- it's a lot more. pure satisfaction. next level
@@tronicol235 well then rockstar getting moodymann and black madonna was. they could've gotten the Guettster and Hardwell and still made a profit, but they decided to be very cool and nice
From this point on this song will forever be in my playlist, such greatness deserves to be recognized for generations to come. I'll make sure my grandchildren here this!!
This track is absolutely beautiful. Eyes closed fully skanking visualising playing this one on a beach in Barcelona surrounded by some of my favourite people. Gonna come back to this comment this year when that moment happens. UNREAL 😍😍😍
This song opened me to the world of House, i stil remember the night, i couldn't sleep so i started clicking on random youtube videos, then i came across to this gem, it was love at first sight. Thank you Andrès!
I love music and also download some hip hop as well...I just noticed how calm and chilled people that listen to house music are...we never agrue, we share music, we're all about love...every hip hop upload ends with people fighting and trying to prove that they know more than the other person. House music, the sound of love...legit track, thanks for the upload
Wow! That is dope. I first discovered this song about 5 years ago. It reminded me of my father instantly when I heard it and I just started balling my eyes out cuz he’s passed. This song gives me a supremely nostalgic feeling, and also a sad feeling and a feeling of inspiration at the same time. Def one of my favorite songs of all time.
After searching for like 1,5 hours I finally found the track my brother found 3 years ago. He found the song when he was at an after-party and he searched it up again, because of that I heard the song and loved it as much as he did. These 2 hours of searching were totally worth it!!
Im not the worlds biggest fan of house music as a whole (im sorry people) and i have seen this tune plastered everywhere for a good year and a half at least and always wondered why. Tonight i finally listened to it and its fair to say im completely blown away. As for the whole vinyl debate i honestly believe its tracks like this that should stay vinyl only. I couldn't tell you why though other than its got that feel to it when a track would go hand in hand with that warm crackling vinyl sound.
Well i probably have considering i bought it on redeye the same night I first heard it because it had just got a repress.... Even if i hadn't i would still stick by my comment because ultimately its just one of them tunes that screams "better on vinyl!'
Bass Muzik As a vinyl enthusiast I think everything sounds better on vinyl! (with the exception of grunge music which I think belongs on cassette ...) But it's nice to have digital indulgences. :-)
There is something so distinctive about this man's productions...so deep and groovy. They always move me, sometimes to dance and sometimes to cry. Either way it's perfect every time♥️
Michal funny story: i am a serious fan of SV and I got to see them 11 years ago performing in tallinn, estonia. with dilla and baatin gone and elzhi sharing the stage with t3, dez on the drums. After the live i got a pass backstage to talk with them and get a photo. Now years later i rediscovered the photo and i finally connected all the dots and went ohshit i'm on the same photo with dj dez = andres. that photo came alive long before my housedayzz
Heard this in Size Cardiff. Heard it a while back but couldn't identify the song. So glad they have Shazam on Snapchat these days. Identified the song for my straight away. Thank you Snapchat and Size Cardiff for playing this absolute masterpiece🙌
AlthoughI love this record and pre-ordered it as soon as I heard it, I am still amazed by the huge response such simply arranged tunes (all 3 on this record) have received, but that's good sample work and a fundamental understanding of the groove for ya! All that said tho, it is magic!

@hotelcartelradio Dexter Wansel - Time Is the Teacher
This track is everything good about simplicity in music. 9 years later it still sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it. So many good memories 🙌🏻
All of Andrés productions are simply next-level smoothness.
has to be one of the best instrumental/deep house tunes ever concieved

+carl shuck deep burnt is way above that one
carl shuck Larry Heard - Can You Feel It created the genre. Peroid. The drum programming alone lifts it miles above modern deep house.
deep burnt ? come on xDDD
Well my friend, which deep house tunes are the other ones ? ;)
Beautifully nostalgic, but also endlessly timeless. Every time I hear this track, I fall in love with it all over again.
