Here is what this stuff means and you may have access to it in the graphics driver configuration program without using regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration\\00\00
scaling =4 = maintain aspect ratio 3 = scale full screen 2 = center image
