- It's my FIRST TIME IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD! Join me as I ride Jurassic World The Ride Secret Life Of Pets, Universal Studio Tour, & more rides for the first time! JURASSIC WORLD The Ride with New INDOMINUS REX was definitely my favorite part of the day. Overall Universal Studios Hollywood 2021 was pretty busy, but we still had fun! I hope you enjoy :)

The small size and urban character of the California parks is one of their biggest selling points. Everything is close. No frantic running from one reservation to another. It also forces them to think of creative ways to pack in as many attractions as possible. Combining Earthquake, Jaws, Fast and Furious, King Kong, and the Studio Tour into a 50 minute "ride" completely justifies the longer wait time. And actually saves you time in the long run.

that tour included 4 rides, Two current and 2 defunct from Universal Orlando. I miss Disaster and Jaws the Ride. Nice to see an iteration of them still exists.
In Hollywood they have a voice changer active at all times so the person inside of the Optimus you actually talks and it goes to a voice changer making them sound like Optimus but in Orlando their pre-recorded

I just watched the studio tour portion. That is the best thing about USH and what makes it unique. When I was a kid the tour lasted about 3 or 4 hours. The park was way different back then.

It makes sense to get the express if one was someone in your situation, to make sure you got to experience the attractions you wanted to do, and considering the fatigue from travel.
I remember going to Universal Studios in the early 70s as a kid when the main attraction was the parting of the Red Sea. I think they had the flood, too. That was about it… just the tour. I sure didn’t cost that much.
My first visit was in the 90s. It was mostly shows and the studio tour and three rides 😒
Omg that looks like so much fun. I hope one day Universal studios Orlando will upgrade the Jurassic park ride. I'm definitely excited to see the Disney video tomorrow. Have a great day and get some sleep guys. Later.

Orlando needs to add a tour like that. Basically could add two more motion simulators while they’re at it.
The drop on the Jurassic World Ride was much smaller than the one in Orlando it looks like. However, besides for the drop, that ride did look better than River Adventure.

sad the Jaws part of backlot doesn’t chomp the track now :( that was the weirdly most standout part when i was a kid (in the 90s 😂) makes me miss my [closest to home] parks, being from BC Canada, especially since it’s been over 20 years since i’ve been down there

AWESOME vlog, JoJo!! Soooo glad you guys did the Studio Tour -- one of the biggest things that sets Universal Hollywood apart from Orlando is that at the Hollywood one, real sitcoms and movies were filmed on the adjacent sound stages for years... literally, DECADES, so there's real Hollywood film *history* there.... I haven't been in quite a few years, but I do remember seeing the town square "Back to the Future" set and the Bates Motel, the "Jaws" set, and even the original "Leave It To Beaver" house (before your time) .... and one year, on the studio tour, they even took us by a set they told us was being used for a film they couldn't reveal, but they said it was about a "friendly Ghost" LOLOL ..... soooo glad y'all had an awesome time in the Hollywood hills!!

Me and my son were in LA in 18 but we did knotts and magic mountain since our main thing is coasters but we’re going to universal in Orlando next week and if we like it enough we’ll add universal to our next LA trip.

Its your first time in universal Hollywood and its going to be my first time at universal orlando!
I have lived on the west coast my whole life and you now have been to Universal Hollywood the same amount of times as me. I have probably been to Universal Orlando 30 times or so though. You experienced the traffic and the time between theme parks, that is why I laugh when people say traffic in Orlando is so bad. I went a couple of years ago and drove from LAX to Hollywood in I think less than a half hour but then did the return trip to Disneyland and it was 3 hours. Have fun on your trip! I can't wait for my move to central Florida in 3 years. Keep up the great work!

Mario is being built right now in the new park in Orlando. It’ll be in Epic Universe along with Universal Monsters, Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic, and How to train your dragon. Should be done in 2024-2025.

How’s California? It’s kinda irrelevant now but how was the experience. I’ve been there many times and it was great. I hoped you enjoy your time there. As a fellow Californian, I hope you liked Universal Studios Hollywood/California in general. Come back any time. I could have also show you around. IDK what Universal Studios Orlando and the other park/parks (IDK if there’s 2 or more) were like, but it’s good to know that some rides are the same. I am disappointed you didn’t go on some of the well known rides because it’s like Florida.
