- This is my very first RUclips trip report from my recent First Class journey from Abu Dhabi to New York on ETIHAD, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. Please enjoy and feel free to comment, rate and subscribe.

Thank you, what an experience it must be to fly on Etihad! their onboard music is amazing, and it went well with your video. I really appreciate your time and effort. Many people think that time filming is easy. It takes lots of dedication and love.
Now, there is a new paint Etihad design on same airlines, it's more elegant and sleek. Congratulations Etihad.
Normally I like to hear the sounds of the airplane, but I did enjoy the very peaceful music that was playing. Thanks for a nice video.

Great video. I love the Etihad music, it always reminds me how much I love and miss Abu Dhabi. Etihad First Class is great, comfortable without being garish. I almost want it to continue forever and not hear the "we are starting our descent"!

ahc2910 Aviation I knew that because I flown on Etihad many times but I moved to the u.s so I can't fly on Etihad anymore 😢😢😢

I have flown with Emirates on the Dubai - New York route and the New York - Dubai route many times and they never flew over Greenland. That is really unique and cool of Etihad
to do that because I love the beautiful white scenery of Greenland.

What is the title(s) of that heavenly music? Good video and a thumbs up from me. I fly First Class for every flight, especially long-haul. I gorge on the entrées and desserts then sleep whilst my chillout trance music plays on. Didn't have anywhere near this luxury in the 80's and 90's.

For many of us who are willing to spend more on a ship, plane, or train, it is because we look forward to the dining experience. When I saw that skimpy breakfast, my heart sank. At at lunch, I believe it was, (the music put me to sleep), the plates were large, and the morsels of food small. I'm not sure why so much video was directed to the sky and clouds, when a few more shots of the details and perks of the cabin would have been welcome.
Great pics the meals look right good and the view outside was good to I just love planes

I lived in Abu Dhabi for a little over one year, but always flew with British Airways 1st to JFK and IAD via LHR ... perhaps I will give Etihad a try some time in the future.
Etihad Airways doesn't have any double Decker aircraft, First Class suites are available on the 777-300ER, Airbus A340-600 and Selective Airbus A330-200. Maximum A330-200s with FCS goes to Europe. Both the 777 and A340 are used in The Trans Atlantic flights, Trans Pacific flights and London Heathrow route.
You just have to save up. I did for about 4 months and I had enough for emirates first class to Dubai from London and back on first class. Went to Abu Dhabi from London on first and came back on first. Waited and saved but the service was excellent.

If you eat big meal in their lounge before flying, does it interfere with their meal service once airborne? In other words, were you hungry again when they served the meal?
None of the services done in the lounge will interfere with your onboard experience, regardless of the class! I'm flying with Etihad Airways for the last 7 months and every day is a new experience. Hope I clarified your question!

Hello. If you wanted a video for yourself, a memory from your trip, you have it. If you were trying to give information, it is way lacking. More about the food (what was that horrific hamburger looking thing??), about inflight service, check-in experience, etc. There was wayyyy toooo much time spent on runways, on pictures of engines. Good luck on your future productions!

It must be embarrassing for the Etihad pilots to see an Emirates Airbus A380 at 14:23. Not just because of the fact the Emirates is Etihad's rival, but also because Etihad does not have an Airbus A380. In face, Etihad doesn't have any double-decker planes.

When will you go to New York again. Why don't you ask me to accompany you? Miss New York like crazy sometimes.
Love the visuals......hate the music. For one, it was pegging the meter. Second, I would rather hear the airplane sounds. Maybe would have been better to fade the music in and out during takeoff, cruise, etc. Would be good when showing just photos. Just my opinion.
