I've been using Build A Soil method and products for just over a year and the results are amazing! I've done my first full run with soil I made using BAS recipe and man I've never had better results. Feeder roots at the surface, underneath the cover crop and straw, just as you said. Waiting to be fed more food. My favorite personally tested products so far are: build a flower, Olly fish compost, BAS worm casting, Big6, mustard seed meal, craft blend... The Big6 and craft blend are my biggest go toos!

Me too. Jeremy has a school of thought that is Very specific to cannabis. My background is trees and tomatoes. I am advanced, compared to the average home grower. But, sence I started watching on 10×10 season 1, my tent game has gone through the roof. Day and night. He offers more, and more practical information, including an explanation of the information. A person couldn't dream of a better coach.
I sound like a cheerleader. I'm not. I'm an asshole. But credit where it is due.

Another great video Jeremy...I use Craft Blend, chicken manure compost, castings, biochar, dried molasses, mustard seed n bokashi for a top dress. Once for transplant, again going into flower. In flower, weekly feedings of Buildabloom, aloe, coconut flakes, big 6, agisil16, humix, supercarb and fish fertilizer. the girls are in week 6 of flower and are banging! 1st run with this regime was super frosty colas with an avg of 6 oz per plant yield.

Jeremy, I am glad you provided the details of Build-a-Flower and Build-a-Bloom. Although I use these on medicinal plants, I am primarily a vegetable gardener. I use both of these products on my tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. The concept is similar to medicinal plants. As a benefit, I have never seen blossom-end rot in my tomatoes (usually a calcium deficiency). From this comment, you will probably determine how excited I am for the 10x10 grow tent series. Keep up the amazing work. As I said in prior comments, I have been an organic gardener for 40+ years and you have provided a new prospective to my passion.

Just did a major restock. Thanks for teaching me so much about living soil and how to changeover. All of your videos are just what I need to judge how I am doing in my grows. I have 2 NIWAs and it they take care of all my watering needs. Can't wait to get more info about the moisture sensors. I changed over to LED and your living soil method just over a year ago. I have the 15 and 20 gal grassroots pots and they are so awesome. Dialed in the environment with AC Infinity and your charts. My grows have become top notch, with much tighter and heavier buds. Better, look feel and smell. Most of this I can directly attribute to your teaching and products. I use about 11 of the 15 products on your chart. I feed every other Friday and make a Tea for the in between Friday. It's all working like a champ.
I just have to add that I haven't used a pH pen since changing over to living soil. I followed your directions and made my own super soil with Build A Soil products and some local store products and have multiple grows in the same soil now. No more buying soil every run. Like the farm videos too as I do vegetables outside here in the summer.
Thanks so much for everything you do.

I have been suffering with stomach issues and have recently been making fermented coconut water kefir. I used water kefir. I feel a difference. Not so groggy. I think it would be great for recovering addicts that believe they may have damaged stomach biology. Something cool about one experiment. I poured hot filter water on hydrophobic sphagnum peatmoss. Then watered with with filtered water and used these ingredients. 1 ounce thrive, 1/2 tsp rootwise, 1/2 tsp q sap 20% to one gallon water. Those little stiff dry parts completely fluffy. I have a sound sensitivity so any background noise can sometimes overtake the foreground noise. So while I’ve watched the video twice, sadly a lot of what you were saying got lost to the background noise. Have you ever tried to talk to somebody while someone else is running the vacuum in the same room? That’s what it reminded me of. It has 90 trace minerals that are in natural balance and a good proportion of calcium and magnesium. The thing that scares me is it is high in salt, as it is basically sea salt. The creators say that since it is present with every known trace mineral In perfect balance that it does not have a negative affect on the soil. I foliar fed and watered my plants with it at 1tsp per gallon and it definitely seemed to have a positive effect. However, the salt thing still scares me. I have only used it once but am tempted to use it again here and there. Any thoughts?

    Merry Christmas to everyone.
I've got a question. I live in middle of europe and i wanted to ask, when is the best time to start living soil? I want to keep my bed on the balcony. We get around -10/15° Celsius in winter. Does this harm the bacteria and the rest of the good stuff in the soil? Should i wait until temperatures don't go below freezing?
Looking forward to you answer. And maybe you could go more into detail in your youtube series what to do with living soil in winter.
Thank you and enjoy the holidays

Thank you for all the hard work you guys put in for us. When I started using BAS products, I felt like I was home and there was no where else to go.
Question- what is you favorite Chem/diesel from seed?

have you ever considered moss as a mulch layer ? I have tons in the woods I could harvest (I live in a rainforest). I am looking for something that is easily removable for when I top dress, also straw is hard to get where I am.

Hey idk where to go to ask questions the best so ig here I am lol. What do you know about or do you use DE( diatemacious earth) for pest control. I have horrible issues with pests, mostly aphids and gnats, all through my living soil experience. This is my best setup yet and I'm terrified it's going to get overrun even tho I haven't seen any yet lol. Just bad vibes I guess. I'm constantly looking and spraying an insect soap every 3rd day ish that's about all I do for pest control so I'm looking at adding something else.
I've heard good things about DE and also really bad things about it, like it kills worms and kills good bugs. I have been using it as a top dress after I water because ik it needs to stay dry but is it okay to use weekly? Because every time I water it needs to be re done and I only do one big watering a week Maybe twice once flowering. Any tips help thanks.

@Jeremy Does the buildabloom feed the microbiology or is it chelated and only available to microbiology?

Idk if your comment makes sense bro. You’re asking if it feeds the microbiology… or if it feeds the microbiology ??

I think he is asking if it’s available watered in or if the biology needs to break it down first. 👍

Would the build a flower top dress be good to use to add to soil used in a previous grow to rejuvenate it and reuse for my next grow? If so how much would I add to a 5 gallon container ?
    Thanks

So if I’m using the 3.0 soil with barely straw to top the 5 gallon fabric pot. How should I add in the craft mix I was going to add it to water but not sure if I could do that instead of top dressing it so I don’t have to move the barely straw and be able to get mold mites it’s my first grow.

Great video. I used the build a bloom last grow with good results will definitely continue with it. My main reason for buying it is that it's vegan. I hope you make more vegan products in the future. ✌️

Looking at the ingredients on the build a flower it is actually the same ingredients as the build a soil 3.0 mix. I don't see any extra reason to buy this when I can buy more 3.0 mix for less money and top dress with that instead 🤷🏿‍♂️

Ingredients might be the same but ratios are different and that’s what makes the difference all these organic products have the same ingredients but different ratios and that’s what separates each product

What were the processes taken in build a flower for gnats? I scooped a handful out of a new bag last week and noticed 2 bugs crawl over my finger. Only needed a hand.
Zipped it back up havnt had time to check it out with work.
