Its good the cameras were there to share this raw footage. This is common for many folks, so people can relate to this scene. Even single mothers can relate to this scene because it hurts them just as much to endure the pain and loneliness of raising a family on your own. Ugh Red reminds me of my father. I met him after 20 years and he was acting the same way- like a victim who does not own up to their actions. I couldn't even imagine meeting my child as an adult and missing out on seeing him/her as a child growing up. Time wasted can never be given back.

They were adopted by the same family. Typically the oldest child carries the hurt and emotions of most situations. The youngest child is care free and doesn’t hold as much resentment from my personal experience and what I’ve come to know about family dynamics

I did research and it appears something went on in the household where he was being hit/abused by the father and said he was also trying to protect his brother and he was sent to jail as a child because of how violently he fought back. So they were adopted to the same family and had two different experiences or either one delt with it better than the other. Either way I understand his anger and hate that the show audience writes him off as bad and invalidates his feelings. He's not wrong to feel the way he feels.
@@jamar19852003 the age thing is usually correct younger siblings usually remember less and have a easier time transitioning to new families. They don't remember the old family and life as much so they fell less pain. Also most older siblings have to protect the younger one and a lot of favoritism goes on in foster families households because they usually want a younger child and babies not older kids. They feel less bonded to the older children and are more likely to mistreat them.

I don't think Genesis faked anything for tv those were raw emotions he couldn't contain. More then likely he did not try to reach out to his kid because he was scared of the fact that he would have had to admit he was 28 and had a child by a girl.that had just turned 14 when she gave birth to his child.
My ex did a similar thing she stop me from seeing my kids, had put a life protection order and trespassing order on me if l came anywhere near the kids l would go to jail.
Its been 14years since l haven't seen my son and daughter lm only 2years away till my sons at the legal age (at 16) which the protection orders will be lifted and my son is able to make his own decisions and l can legally see him.

Sha Sha it wasn’t up to sky chus she didn’t have rights to either one of them. And the foster mom told sky the older son was with him and that’s how he ended up turning against sky and hating her so bad. So it was still the dads choice on wanting to see him same way sky was making effort
