Geology of the earth core

This video deals with the earth's crust and the core. It depicts the earth's crust as a thin shell and shows it lying on the upper part of the mantle. The earth's inner core or its innermost geologic layer is depicted as a solid ball believed to be composed of an iron-nickel alloy with some other elements.
