I did the same thing. Installed Magnaflow mufflers and it was a little too quiet. Removed the resonators and it was way too loud. Especially inside the car. Muffler shop suggested vibrants in place of the resonators (plus a j-pipe to reduce drone even more) and it is PERFECT.
I like the Magnapacks w/vibrant resonators. They may be quieter but they sound better and less raspy.
The angle cut on the tips cut down the rasp.

Magnaflow wins easy. It doesn't have to be loud to sound really, really good.
Delete beast mode was a winner too.

Sounds much better and just overall cleaner with the magnapacks as mid mufflers and Vibrant 1794 (rear resonators). The straight pipe, muffler and reso delete just sounds like shit..
Magna flow is the grown up exhaust choice. The extra loudness shit is for u kids.
The Magnapacks with the Vibrants sounded excellent. Muffler deletes sound like shit.
Mid muffler delete with vibrants out back is the way to go. Period. Get waymore volume but almost not rasp. Still has that deep muscle car tone.
Magnaflow sounds wayyyyyyy better hands down
The second car with the muffler delete was a 5.7 and the 6.4 dont sound that deep i would know because it sounds exactly like mine lol
Yes you are right i have the 6.4 and i can pick out a 5.7 miles away for the deep throaty sound that 5.7 has...no shade on my car but i love the sound of the 5.7 its soo good.
what tips did you use on the magnaflow setup? that sounded REALLY good and those tips look great
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought RT and 392 scat pack were different. 5.7 and 6.4
They are now, but I think the scatpack used to be called the R/T scatpack

The regular RT is the 5.7(345), where the 6.4(392) can be either the "RT scatpack" or the srt 392. Basically the RT scatpack is just an RT with an upgraded motor/engine. The difference between the RT and SRT version of the 6.4(392) is the brakes, suspensions, seating, tires, wheels, badging, sound system and possibly a few other things.
I have a 2019 R/T Scatpack widebody 392 , Challenger, R/T Scatpack and Srt 392 are the same car ONLY difference is badging, the 1320 only difference is shocks and programming, my widebody has all the features a hellcat has but the supercharger and engine , 🤣 🤣 🤣 lmao, anyways they both sound badass
I'd like to know what a set up would sound like with the magnaflow magnapack replacing the mid muffler and deleting the resonator at the tip (i.e. no Vibrant just a straight pipe). Love the sound of the magnaflow magnapack and Vibrant but would like to save some cash and not have to purchase the Vibrant. Thanks!

Ik primary cat delete is illegal but is a secondary cat delete illegal ?
Aslong as the O2 sensors are in front of the secondary cats, Then you won’t get a check engine light and you’ll be able to still pass emissions

Red Lord oh man before I did the 2nd cat delete I had a muffler and res delete. It was kinda loud but now there’s a huge difference. Like at 2000rpm my car is just screaming lol. But I love it.
Magnaflow sounds better.
Mid muff delete is much better.
